Spot on Mike and it gives the youngsters necessary test experience. However watch out, the short sighted ones will wail away and call for the return of Danie Gerber if anything goes amiss! Hahahahahhahaha
Frans Steyn has to prove he still has pace and can work hard for 80 minutes.
What an honourable man Jean is. Compare him to the self serving wee matfiled 105 kg. Spot the difference!!

I hear Jean was slower than slow.
We don't have a problem at centre....we have options to burn.
de Allende is a certainty right now.....Serfontein will be when he returns from injury.
We have Jessie Kriel who by all accounts was very impressive at 13 yesterday.
Then we have inform options in Vorster, Odendaal, Frans Venter and Mapoe.
Other viable options are JJ, v/Wyk, Hannekom, Mnisi, Taute, Frans and Sadie.

I think that Mapoe may be in some sort of contention - but he is small physically - a type of player Meyer does not like at center. On his form in Super 15 I think Vorster should be called up to the squad since De Villiers is not available and Fat Fransie and Fatter Fourie is not an option. Serfontein has not played for months either.
The two reputation fanatics must be in despair and all they can do is to moan and forecast disaster. I would not be surprised if Desert Disaster will come up with Kirchner as a solution to all our backline problems and want Morne at 10
