A vast improved performance this year after what was a tragic opening to the Cheika era last year. It must be said the best team won the competition. From the first test against the Boks it was clear this team had turned a corner, particularly on defence. By far the best attack in the SH and the form team, and now Rugby Championship winners . There are still issues to be exploited, and it remains to be seen how they fare against the NH sides who are better equipped to dominate set pieces and play a more rounded game, but that is an issue for another time.

New Zealand... where do I begin? The Super XV showcased perfectly the blueprint to beat the Aussies, but they - along with South Africa - were completely ignorant in how they approached the Wallabies. Shades of South Africas 2010 season for New Zealand, in that both SH finalists very dominant Kiwi sides like the Bulls and Stormers were. I'm not impressed at all by what I have seen from New Zealand, quite shocked in fact. They have it all to do now. And yes Skudder took his chances well, great coming into play off Carter and showed real class in beating those three defenders for the second. but overall, a big step back this year.

As the Argies coach said - the Boks should have beaten both oz and the wee abs. Best team was Boks followed by Oz and then the abs. Bit annoying that Oz have blown up the kiwi myth prematurely. Look fowsrd to seeing the match. I hear Oz even dominated the scrums!!!!

Incorrect. Australia had more tries open to them in that game. They created more and defended better, won the tactical battle and pinned us in our half for almost the entire second half. Yes, credit to the Boks for holding on, and there were alot of nice things on attack but Australia were the better team. Against New Zealand? The Boks should have done better. Simple as that. But give Australia credit, they won all their games playing great rugby. Humility goes a long way and they deserve muc h praise after taking a pounding the past three years.

It' a wonderful day Just Win.

This match just made my day extra special.

I doubt it'll change anything ... our fool of a coach will continue to humiliate us ... and we'll have no choice but to endure his idiocy ... but at least we have this special day to console ourselves with ... a day where the Proteas (ranked 2nd) came stone last in the Championship ... losing three in a row ...

I love it ...
