And it's a new year and yet more players in my team.....66 had been used prior to this 6 Nations starting under Mr Lancaster. As I said, we haven't ever had chance to settle a side.I think we might just do alright without your valuable insights

Well I already did prove you wrong.....you said Robshaw failed to effect any turnovers. The stats say he gained two !!!!!

Chris Robshaw is a class player and an even better captain. I'm sure he's the first name on Stuart Lancaster's team sheet and I reckon Lancaster is right on the button.
Becs, if I were you I'd be worried about Robshaw making it through the 6N with that shoulder injury. England are probably tournament favourites right now but their chances will nosedive if Robshaw is crocked.

Rooinek, I am quite amazed that he manages to go the full 80 in every Test, with his workrate. He rarely gets subbed for Quins either. 
I think we should not get ahead of ourselves but we were favourites pre Tournament in a number of Bookies anyway ! I don't go with all that tosh myself, but all I go with is my own opinion and that was that we are a good side and lost our confidence after the Summer. We were wrongly lambasted by all quarters, simply to undermine us I feel. And we should not fall into that trap.Stick to the plan, try and cope with the injuries and keep building.That win on Friday was massive, the weeks leading up were increasingly vile from the Welsh and Gatland in particular ( he has created disgusting tensions between our two Nations now ), the evening itself was just pathetic and has purely served to make them look petty and ridiculous. Booing the team, the Anthem ( which just happens to be theirs too, in case they had forgotten ! ), and the team largely failing to clap us off the field....well, it's just appalling and shows them up for what bad sportsmen and public they really are. We'll just have to see how the rest of the thing goes now, but it would be nice to win a Grand Slam. They are what I love most in the world of Rugby and a lot of people I know still feel the same way  

Robshaw is crap...not an opensides backside. The whole of England want Armitage at 7 for he is a true openside  

Well not quite the whole of England, Dave. It seems Stuart Lancaster still prefers the hard graft and the inspirational leadership qualities of Chris Robshaw to the positive-testing Steffon Armitage who gets so drunk that he can't remember punching people in a bar.
Steffon's brother Delon is equally bad-mannered and boorish and another complete waste of obvious talent. They could both have been England legends if they had an ounce of breeding or class but who could blame any England manager for ignoring these two embarrassing yobs?

 The whole of England ? Do they ? Really ? Well, I can tell you no-one in my house does, we're English and we count more than you do !!! We're also not the only ones, not by a long shot.....so shut up :0 

Geez Rooi inspirational leader that is a bit of a stretch. The guy is a pretty average rugby player who is clearly not equipped to play 7.
From a purely rugby point of view Armitage is far far better and the public and experts are shouting loud for his inclusion.
Those that don't want him in are cut from the same cloth as the anti Luke Watson brigade. They labour under prejudices ranging from him not being born here, like that ever stopped England selecting foreigners, to the stance that he does not play in England or regarding his off field antics.
From a purely rugby point of view there is no comparing the players as 7's, it's chalk and cheese stuff. Armitage would improve England's chances of victory whereas Robshaw is just an ordinary Joe playing out of position much like Schalk did for the Boks. Leaving Armitage out has nothing to do with rugby merit. 
The calls are loud for Armitages inclusion and Lancaster might have to concede and has said as much

 Really ? So many critics after Friday night ? Because he was so hopeless ! and yes, he is a good leader and his behaviour is impeccable. Others should actually take a leaf out of his book once in a while. 
Armitage had his chance, I told you Saffex. You did not even know that. He was not selected so he stropped off instead of staying here and working at getting back into the Squad. Made his choice. And, as I said, he would be playing for France if the rules had not been changed. So you know what ? Players do not dictate their terms. They do not tell Coaches they will be selected because they want to be, they earn the right. Not just by the standard of their play but by their entire demeanour on and off the pitch. And loyalty is something that is important to Mr Lancaster. Armitage does not deserve anything from anyone.And, as I also said, he might actually be facing a Court case for a serious charge, so that would rule him out for good, he becomes a total moot point.

And stop putting words in Mr Lancaster's mouth. He said there is a clause. That is the only way in which Armitage would be included in our Squad !! 

Dave, many people don't reckon Francois Pienaar was the best flanker in South Africa in 1995 but if you had to go back in time would you choose anyone else? No? Well then . . .

 Pienaar played in his right position and I for one thought he was a good player.I had no issue with his selection.
England lack balance i n their loose trio as Robshaw is built to play blind side or 8. They lack a ball playing speedster with skill who competes for the ball on the ground. Armitage has been in scintillating form for 18 months now culminating in the European player of the year award and he can't even make his national squad. It smacks of short sightedness and more than anything England are shooting themselves in the foot and depriving themselves of a player who would give them an edge.
Selecting Robshaw over Armitage is like selecting Morne over Carter

But actually, I've been having a look around and I cannot see many folk calling for Armitage to be included in the Squad now at all....Slade, Wade etc etc, yes.....but the clamour to dump our Captain from some silly folk has died down again since that little win. Thank goodness. 

Take a look in yesterday's Guardian, Saffex.

He now says he " unintentionally fell " on the victim whilst drunk and that is how he was so badly injured. That's changed from not having done anything at all, hasn't it ? And the victim also says he approached him and told him not to file a complaint against him.
