The guy is poor behind the stumps and can't bat......and we have him at 6. Just watch him behind the stumps has a poor technique, is not athletic at all. Fuck me what a poor selection he is. Aged 30 as well.
To think that de Kock in great form is sitting at Home. I know the squad was selected some time ago but to exclude de Kock is plain stupidity. Much like excluding Rossouw and selecting average Bavuma.
The only positive is Rabada making his debut and bowling well and Elgar adding a real option as a left handed spinner.
The side should be:
1. Elgar 2. v/Zyl 3. Amla 4. AB 5. Rossouw/Faf 6. JP 7. de Kock 8. Philander 9. Steyn 10. Rabada 11. Morkel when all are fit.

Our biggest FU was playing 2 spinners, leaving out another bat. De Kock likes batting against india. Sellections lost us this one....still a poor pitch...shame on India.

And there I thought Amla is a test specialist. (*think* - run boetman run )

Amla reminds me of Greybeard.
Way past his best.....but determined to show he still has it.
Please someone let him into the secret.

Fartur being ripped by Humungous....a crack in the barking dogs. But riddle me this Humungous, which South African wicket keeper blew an easy stumping chance in the semi, by missing the ball when he broke the wicket. ...thus setting up our exit from the CWC?

Oh heavens we have Moffie talking about a missed run out that was explained to death but given your obvious cricket ignorance you were unable to grasp the facts and chose instead to pass over AB s missed run out opportunity in the same game that was 10 times easier.
A call as ignorant as telling us useless Vic never cost us the semi.
But let me guess ignorant old man you in your infinite wisdom would prefer Vilas as our test keeper would you. Dumb fuck

Not necessarily Vilas....not sure he is up to it. But is de Kock? I would prefer a keeper who can catch a bouncing ball.

Still carrying on about the so-called missed run out opportunity - the stupid old fart is really the pits. He never stop repeating the same disproved drivel he himself dreamed up as being deficient in a player. Last I read he wanted van Wyk as keeper. Right age insofar as he is concerned - the nearer to 40 the better insofar as he is concerned.

You go and see what you wrote when De Kock was out of the squad in the recent NZ series and was replaced by Van Wyk. Then admit you were all agog about Van Wyk and attacking De Kock.

So, World Authority.....you would play four quicks on a recognized dust bowl....not even one spinner??? Seriously now, were you gesuip when you wrote that post!?
Going by your logic you would you then play 4 Spinners on a bouncy wicket.

The pitch is a damn disgrace...not fit for any sport to be played on let alone cricket...the lesser pitches at my old school were damn side more civilized...an old pitch and a very tired one
Even the groundsman said...Daljit Singh, the head groundsman in Mohali, also said this was a
23-year-old pitch, a tired pitch. The square has not been relaid since
the ground was built in 1992. There is every chance, if there was less
turn, for the pitch to have veered to the other extreme. If this match
ended two days too soon on a turner, we might have needed two extra days
for a result on a non-turner. A Test match that is close until the
early exchanges of the fourth innings, even if it ends in three days, is
better than a boring draw. Also, as MS Dhoni used to point out, such a
pitch, turning from day one, almost takes the toss out of the equation.

Talking overall record were you??? Is that a fact......you must be awfully confused. Why don't you scroll back to your above post where you specifically refer to Harmer and Tahir in a specific game Hmmmm?
Show me where you've made mention about players' overall record?
Suck it up you dope......you've d*ck'd yourself again.

Here's a test of your decency.
Do you concede that Simon Harmer and Imran Tahir's figures were impressive in the last test ?

VetvarkThere is no mention of Elgar in your original post, neither of the overall career stats of Harmer and Tahir. You were the one who singled them out as average in the last test, I was the one who presented their stats in the last test which proves beyond any doubt to be more than average, in fact their stats are impressive.Your added stupidity to play four quicks on a spinner friendly dead pitch boggles the mind when our specialist spinners are more than adequate. The time has come to do some surgery on your fat lip, either that or your piggy looking eyes are letting you down.

Moz, have a look at our batting figures in both innings of the most recent test against India....our guys couldn't even scrape together 201 runs in the first innings to equal the Indian score, don't bother to look at our batting in the second innings.....clearly we lost because of poor batting. I don't know what the fool is on about having four quicks.
