De Allende cannot straighten up the attack or defend. He cannot play 12. Even worse, put the ball into his hands and he brings nobody into the game. But as per Blount, that man is a beast of a runner. Explosive.

Well Michael, I have been asking you all season for a reference to where the things you say exist. You have not been ableto do so, because it cannotbe found in the game footage. We can safely conclude from that, that you are either wrong or lying.

I'm impressed Moffie ... you managed to post something instead of leaving us with the usual blank page.

Having a good day then?

Make the most of your lucid days ... we all know how rare they are ...

I agree we have talent to burn at 12. Allende is looking the best in the world right now. Jan is a competent test player and of course Vorster is highly promising and we also have Odendal and Venter. However are you sure that Jean will not return rested and raring to go. Meyer has to give him a chance. Jean is a highly talented and experienced player. Lets see what he can do.
I still remember certain oaks writing off Burger. You would think they would have leaned that when you are dealing with class players at least give them a chance to make the side by proving themselves on the field of play.

The video demonstrates explosive power running. Head-on bully boy action. Your examples are nothing in common and don't illustrate what is presented here. Beano, give me one example of Damian holding his channel with an effective tackle or straightening the attack. Likewise Serf, has struggled to do anything for two years! Vorster can run nice angles, but has a lot to prove. Odendaal to boot. Too much hype. We just don't produce good centres and if Damian and Serf are the best of the bunch that truly is a sad state of affairs. The worst defensive centre in SH rugby and a poor man's Jean.

de Allende is the best centre in the game right now.....evidenced by his S15 stats and his two tests this year - FACT.
Everyone is raving about him......he is the first name mentioned by any of my Pom mates when it comes to watching the tests that have just passed.
Wake up to reality man

I'm not interested in hearsay. Back when Spies was a shameful turnstile obliterating tests you and most others heralded him as a future greatest Bok! People say things and are not always right. Damian is statistically the worst defensive centre in SH rugby!
That's another one of these facts. On attack? Not one person has been able to reference one instance of him straightening the attack. His crashballs most often ending in a purposeless tangle of bodies, which is why coaches are trying to use him in space. He is not our answer at 12. I have detailed these things thoroughly, but the fanboys have not been able to defend their flavour of the week.

If Allende had the ability to tackle Kuridrani,  with Louw right there .....we would have got turnover ball or a penalty ending the game in our favour . Kuridrani pierced through Allende's tackle and we lost the skirmish, the battle and the war. Game over.

That's not the play of the best centre in the world. Right now he is half a centre. In all likelyhood that fact will be hidden until we are deep into the RWC given the weaker opponents we now face. But it's a ticking time bomb.

If he costs us the WC it will be Meyer, the Bull, who will take the blame irrespective of what the player actually does. South Africans are not the most honest people out there, they always find a way to rationalize the mediocre. Just look at Lambie, nothing in 6 years, but apparantly we must "give him the keys"... that simple!
Yes, right now Toomua and Kuridrani are the best centre pairing in the world. Australia finally have directness with their skill which makes them a far better prospect for the World Cup. Our pairing is painfully far behind them. And the fans are buying into it! Imagine if Frans was the worst defensive centre in the SH? Or Morné that at 10? You'd never hear the end of it, but a player they like is exactly that so we will simply distract with some razzle dazzle PR. Shameful.
