Please note that the passengers that will destroy our chances to get past the quarter-finals stage of the WC is highlighted.    The hospital ward cases (De Villiers and Du Preez) have very little chance to be match-fit and De Villiers was not up to standard when he did play in one recent test, during which he was injured again.  The rest are just plain useless for a variety of reasons relating to constant under-performance when they did play.  Pietersen lost his pace completely and Du Plessis is worthless outside of scrumming and a regular penalty machine as well.
With that combination of loosies we will never protect and recover breakdown balls - bar Vermeulen the loosies indicated are incapable to participate in that.  With Matfield our Tight 5 will not be competitive.    

APD, at the time of the injury they said about 6 weeks, which makes it touch and go for him.....but given the squad has to be announced by the weekend, my guess is that Coetzee is out of contention
