World Swimming Championship - Kazan : First SA gold medal

While rugby has gone a bit quiet due to the off weekend this week - lets see what is happening in the World Swimming Championship in Kazan.
Up to now it was open water events, water polo, diving, etc.  The pool swimming competitions starts tomorrow.
Chad Ho won the 5 km open water race.  He was the first SA swimmer to win an open water event at a World Championship or Olympic Games.   That is a great achievement for this guy.  
Congratulations - you have made us all proud - Chad.
  

Particulary those who delight in the Springboks losing and call our rugby heroes shirkers and sneaks.  

Loss of national identity....a sense of betrayal by the older generation.....young people having to cope with far more than they should at their ages.....hence the time of the individual?
