Actually that’s a very objective analysis. One of those cases where the law will likely come down in favor of the officer, but the lingering question is, was it proportional?

My initial reaction was that it was unnecessary ….this was just a typical Woke warrior, not a dangerous person. But the video that’s dishonestly not being shown creates a different impression. The car accelerates suddenly and the officer scrambles to get out of the way.

I still don’t think he had to shoot, but I can understand why in that instant he did. What ICE is doing is legal and the abuse they experience is at the heart of this tragedy.

Personally I don’t agree with all the deportations, but immigration has to be legal. A very decent woman working for me voluntarily went back to her native country to legalize her status. That’s been harder than she thought and I continued paying her . This woman has been in the US for years paying her way, she has children in college, to me that’s a different category.

But when you have a massive program like this there are going to be inequities. You can’t deal with 3 million exceptions.

Correct, it was made into a weapon, and any person stupid enough to drive towards an officer when he has a gun pointed at them should accept the consequences.

Well..... what a lot of people don't know, is that this very same officer that shot this woman was also involved in another serious incident in June last year where he was dragged quite a distance by a vehicle he stopped and sustained multiple injuries and had to be hospitlised and received 20 stitches to his arm and 15 stitches to his hand.

But.... Stav would rather that officer get hit with the car first..... then determine just how seious he was hit, and then try and decide if it was suffcient enough to warrant him pulling out his service weapon and then deciding to point it at the person in the vehicle..... and then also deciding if he should pull the trigger to stop the immediate threat.....

George's toxicology report in summary...

The toxicology portion of George Floyd’s autopsy (completed late May 2020 as part of the full autopsy report) found that at the time of his death:

1. Fentanyl (a powerful synthetic opioid) was present in his system.
2. Methamphetamine was also detected, indicating recent use.
3. Cannabinoids (likely cannabis metabolites) were found on initial screening.

A forensic toxicologist later testified in the Derek Chauvin trial that:

1. The fentanyl level in Floyd’s blood was about 11 ng/mL, which was above some ranges associated with overdose but not necessarily fatal on its own and lower than levels seen in many DUI (driving under the influence).

How about, don't be a life long criminal, have an overdose worthy level of fentanyl in your system, cause trouble, resist arrest and escalate the situation when the cops have been extremely patient with you.

Lol if cops went around treating everybody like they were on the verge of fentanyl overdose, they wouldn't be able to arrest anyone.

Not just that...... how about the fact that George Floyd also had advanced heart disease where multiple arteries were 75 - 90% blocked which made him more vulnerable due to low oxygen levels.

How about the fact that at that time, George Floyd was also experiencing hypertensive heart disease, which caused an enlarged heart.... more specifically cardiomegaly at 540g.

How about the fact that in "normal circumstances", just the Fentanyl in his system, in isolation, was enough....on it's own, to cause a fatal overdose..... and then add in the norfentanyl (metabolite) from recent metamphetamine use.

Then just for extra measure, add in the Cannabinoids found in his system, and the fact that he was also suffering from a Covid infection, and sickle cell trait.

What Chauvin did was disgusting, and unnecessary, and I have never agreed with it, but I do feel for these cops that have to deal with these kind of life or death situations every day, and with Floyd being 6 foot 4, 102 kgs ... on drugs and also resisting arrest, I can only imagine how difficult it was to restrain him, but that does not condone what happened.

Then take into account the gun, the pregnant woman, the counterfeit money, his history of crimes........ Floyd was no angel.....and through his own actions and daily drug use masssively contributed to his own demise.
