Have you finally figured out the difference between ‘subtly’ and ‘subtlety’ Misty. Or are you still denying that this is wrong?

‘ For months you’ve been subtlety (you seem to like that word) dropping innuendos’..

And by the way, it’s not a spelling lesson as you keep repeating. The spelling of ‘subtlety ’ is correct. But Its the wrong  word altogether...a total disaster.

"Plum I could care less about Misty’s criminal clan."

So you do care to some extent because - as you say - it is possible for you to care less than you do.

Strange statement, but anyway . . .

Strange finding someone as ignorant as RooiPeeper Coward. Perhaps this quote from Webster’s will help him:

Merriam-Webster treats the phrases couldn't care less and could care lessas synonymous, both meaning "not concerned or interested at all." "Couldn't care less" is the older and more obvious phrase grammatically, but it has been confused for so long that both are now defined. Additionally, the example sentence "it's impossible that [I] could care less" is the same as the intended meaning.

American dictionaries defending the stupid way Americans use the phrase.
Pfffft!
It's a stupid thing to say, especially when you mean the exact opposite.
Here's John Cleese explaining it for the benefit of stupid people like ButtPlug and Moffie . . .

Misty...

Where I'm from, when one has a lot of brothers, people say that there's always one that's a jailbird. Perhaps it has roots in the prodigal son from the bible story...who knows?

Surely, this is not the first time you've heard of it?

Kinda similar to saying that the shoemaker's kids have no shoes. It's not an actual slight on the shoemaker or his family but rather just an expression concerning human nature.

Seriously...precious much?

But now I am interested...do you have a jailbird brother? If so, are you still surprised at the expression?

He lives in the US, Rooi. The phrase is well accepted there.

Why should he be embarrassed about your ignorance?

Okay, so Moffie says he could care less. He's not quite at the point where he couldn't care less so he still cares to some degree. Noted.

John Cleese explained it pretty well. If you still haven't realised it's a stupid thing to say then you probably never will.

See you're whining away about my absence, gosh its really only been the weekend, obviously I loom large in your life. Here let me help you. Thing is Bong Bong Boy, I have a life away from this message board, unlike you I don't rush in here in the early hours of a weekend, unlike you I don't spend hours posting away and unlike you I don't get on here in the early hours of a Saturday morning and stupidly ask "Where's everyone"? Clearly you have a forum obssession....I don't.

Rooi...

Ja, then I guess that Afrikaans people are dumb too and we should probably chuck English speaking Saffas on the stupid pile as well.

A lemon in Afrikaans is not the same as a lemon in English.

"Perdeby"...directly translated to English is horse-fly. Afrikaans people call a wasp a perdeby...English people call a wasp a wasp and a horse-fly is something else.

Now, is anybody asinine enough to attempt to point out the difference when the meaning of the words are clear to the people that use them?

Oh, but those are different languages is what you'll probably say next.

Shall we attempt to explain "just now" and "now now" to Misty?

How about any of the other uniquely South African English phrases which are influenced by, but not limited to, other languages and colloquialisms?

You just can't stop losing, guy.

ButtPlug, you're wasting your time. There's nothing you or Moffie can copy and paste and there's nothing you can tell me that's going to make me think that the words "I could care less" mean something different to what I know they mean.
I don't care how many people in the USA make the same mistake, it's just plain stupid.
If you have the capacity to care less about something then you obviously care to some degree. Watch the John Cleese clip again and let me know if you need me to draw you some pictures.

Hmmm . . . not so sure about that, Dense. Moffie and ButtPlug don't exert superiority at all, they just demonstrate their ignorance.

Never forget that the pompous old fop who's always correcting other people's spelling is the same half-wit who uses words like "speach" and "kanipshin". ButtPlug is just a fawning Servile Gimp who cheers his master on without actually thinking things through.

Haha all three nitwits in one place again.

LOL the world's biggest beta living up to his moniker.

I wasn't asking for a debate. I was simply asking for your comment on Obama's wonderful "liberation' of Libya. We've discussed Trump up and down this board? You've offered a great deal of comments on him too. But suddenly you don't wanna talk about "other" world leaders and the consequences of their actions. Surprise, surprise!

Do you know that the Libyan civil war continues to this day? It's been going on for almost seven years now...no end in sight.

Of course, you'd also have nothing to say about the power vacuum that Obama left behind, resulting in Libya sitting at the heart of the modern slave trade...

"Slavery may seem like a relic of history. But according to the U.N.’s International Labor Organization (ILO), there are more than three times as many people in forced servitude today as were captured and sold during the 350-year span of the transatlantic slave trade."

If you want to be slightly less beta, see if you can make it through the whole article...

Libyan slave trade

Now, try to be really really really brave and imagine if it was Trump that destroyed an African country and then pulled out to leave a power vacuum that resulted in what you read in that article and worse.

The left media, politicians and you nitwits on this board would be all over it. You'd be putting every ounce of African suffering on Trump's shoulders. Don't even pretend that you wouldn't because it has been done here already, by all of you, on the basis of much more tedious avenues of causation.

Now I ask you...was it Bad Orange man or brave, heroic, wonderful, stately, intelligent, eloquent, kind and respectful Hope man wot caused more black/African suffering?

One thing is for sure, the damage that Obama did to Africa cannot be measured. Not yet anyway. Because it's very far from over.

Listen Clown it's not like Obama is my pin-up boy, my cult hero, like Trump is to you and the rest of the deplorables. Obama is not an untouchable to me as Trump is to you,

I'll  call him out, he fooked up Libya just as Bush fooked up Iraq.....happy now?

And no I'm not a Leftie or a Marxist or a Communist. As a matter of fact I hold some strong conservative views, I enjoy and respect law and order and I don't believe in riots, arson and looting.

Now stop craving my attention, I really don't feel the urge to "debate" a nauseating Suck Up. Develop some self respect and be your own person without seeking attention then who knows things might change.

Too hard an ask? ...Ja, thought so.
