Red nose is off again, Hitler was not an evolutionist at all he was a fellow Christian God believer so does that mean we can blame him because of his Christianity?

It can be claimed that he did what he did at your gods bidding, can you prove otherwise, get on your porcelain telephone and ask him as you must be on talking terms since you seem to know exactly what God's plan is

Fuck me you radicals will throw any load of shit out and your fellow fuckwits dine on it like they are eating lobster .

You must have a large roll of shit paper on your dining table as you  eat so much shit you must be covered in it.

Mpower… Do you know what this acronym means? RTFQ? The question wasn’t “If you had a time machine, what would you do about Hitler?” It was about whether you would kill a Hitler as a baby. It’s a simply yes or no. The question is framed like that for a reason and when your answer is outside of the parameters of the question then it becomes pointless. (F-) For that answer haha

I had a SA guy working for me and he is a Bible literalist and he claimed that the Aborigines were slaughtered based on Darwins theory of evolution because one of his preacher told him so about 30 years ago, Now that genocide was carried out around 1800-1820 and the theory or evolution was published in 1859?

Took me 2 minutes to find this out, took him 30 years..

What can you expect from indoctrinated sheep, it's not a case of what's true its what they want to be true.

When I asked why he didn't believe evolution was true he replied that Darwins book contained errors (which it does) so I said you throw out all the evidence because a book written over 150 uears ago contained some errors. AND HE REPLIED YES??????

So I said if a book contains some errors then everything is wrong, in that case you cannot believe in the Bible as its full of errors.

Funnily enough he couldn't  answer that.

Anyway my point is do not believe everything someone says, we live in a time when information is at your finger tips and if red nose spent 2 minutes checking his facts he wouldn't be looking half as stupid as he does.

Mind you that would only raise his i q from 2 to 4 ( the minimum iq required to breath on your own)

And if you want to know if that fact is true or I pulled it out of my arse like red noses "facts" look it up lol

Gosh….now there’s a thing. Crusader had a dumb Saffa working for him. And he was in direct communication with this dumb person who was really dumb…lacking all the basic skills of analysis.
Now that implies his own level of value in the economic system is one step above terminally dumb. Your average middle manager might have four levels below him. Your CEO might have seven levels to a grunt like the one Sader describes.
But he is one level above terminally dumb….proven by the fact that he was so anxious to insult South Africans that he hilariously missed this obvious tell.

But since you lack intelligence its easy to see how you missed the point completely and hurl around generalizations and get the wrong end of the stick. Your the one proving your own statement about saffas being stupid.

I don't think so, did not single out verbally and nastily  anybody but left it to poke at conscience. Don't think in group thought and each person to his own interpretation and discernment..

Cannot one have or .express his individualistic opinions or does one have to push and stroke the feelings of group sentiments...I hope not.

Don't be a hypocrite I've heard far more derogatory insults from certain individuals including you than anybody.

Don't strain at gnats and mosquitos whilst swallowing camels and elephants.

Come to think of it on second thought I'm sure there are those that agree.

Does not matter to me but what is so obvious is when you touch a raw nerve by not insulting them blatantly (which probably means it's closer to truth) then posters react vehemently, otherwise why would it upset them

And by the the way when you write:

Sader, did you ever consider that poking holes in religious texts is low hanging fruit and that’s normally why people older than 18 tend not to bother? I’d challenge you to give us your take on reality/creation. And i’ll front run your answer and say that “the big bang happened and here we are” is a weak answer considering the current scientific thinking on the nature of reality.

First of all picking holes in religious text is fun as there are so many holes to pick at and also I am hoping it might make some people think.

As for reality and "everything" my view is we live in a natural world, it is as we see it. There is no sign of any mystical being having a hand in any of it.

Life is also a natural occurances.

As for the big bang which started thus universe could be true might not be its beyond my comprehension just like it is currently beyond everyone's.

But plenty of fools on here trying to tell me that they know exactly how it happened and where we go when we die and none of it makes any sense. (I firmly believe it's oblivion for me and my body will return to natural world  just like it was before I was alive)

I suspect that many on here cannot comprehend or face that this life is all they get. To me an afterlife was created to easy peoples fears.

Like it's been stated before death doesn't worry me one bit, it's how I die that I worry about

So know you know my views let's hear yours Plum.

Bet it will be sorcerer waved his wand and poof here we are, question answered turn brain off

Sader do you really think this; “As for reality and "everything" my view is we live in a natural world, it is as we see it. There is no sign of any mystical being having a hand in any of it“ Since you are one of the science gang, i’m interested to known whether you think evolution would select for objectively true information over information that pays off? “… we create an apple when we look, and destroy it when we look away. Something exists when we don’t look, but it isn’t an apple, and is probably nothing like an apple. The human perception of an apple is a data structure that indicates something edible (a fitness pay-off) and how to eat it. We create these data structures with a glance, and erase them with a blink. Physical objects, and indeed the space and time they exist in, are evolution’s way of presenting fitness pay-offs in a compact and usable form.” It’s easy to call religious people ignorant but it would be like one gorilla calling another hairy. We’re all ignorant and operating on minimal, summarised and highly interpreted information. One thing is certain…reality is not at all what you see. It’s simply what you believe you see.

Yes I Do

Couldn't help but notice you haven't put forward how you think everything exists.

And how do you know that reality as we see it is not how it is?

An apple is an apple whether I am looking at it or not I don't buy into this nothing exists if a life form is not looking at it.  Sure there will be nothing to see it or know what it is but it will still exist. How do you then explain all the planets that are in the universe that we cannot see but can see the affects that show they exist.

If every life form ceases to exist you believe that everything will just vanish?

Feel free to post some links for me to look at to get a better understanding of what you are claiming

You misunderstood what i was saying. Anyway, doesn’t matter. Here, I’ll do you one better. Here’s an entire interview with a guy that is researching the subject. In case you think i’m about to drop some cooky BS on you, I’m not. Hoffman is as legit as professors come. And i never said that i believe him. I’m not gonna try sell it to you. All i’ll say is, be ready to hear some very uncomfortable and humbling things in this interview. https://youtu.be/reYdQYZ9Rj4 What i did say was that it’s very unlikely that the reality we perceive is either the full pie or even a truthful representation of the tiny slice that we are able to perceive and interact with. And knowing that, i’m very skeptical about sweeping statements relating to God or reality.

The point is in the absence of anybody being smart enough to put forward a robust theory about existence…every view should be tolerated.

There was a time when religious people weren’t tolerant of  non believers. Now we are in a time where non believers aren’t tolerant of religious people.

Why not simply let people express their points of view without abuse. So much of what I read is rejection of the Old Testament. By contrast the New Testament is a remarkable document with an advanced sense of morality, especially given it was recorded 2000 years ago.

That doesn’t make the New Testament the truth….but it does make it the code that has formed modern morality.

Why we exist remains a problem still  too elusive for the human mind.

I also see that this latest Russian statement that the fire at the mall was from them bombing some weapons cache or depo, which was right next door to the mall, which resulted in the mall catching fire.....

The Bible: Variation within species. Genetic adaptation

Darwin: The bear hunting for fish will become a river whale (true statement)

Which one is observable in nature?

Modern Science: See the leg sticking out the frogs back? That's mutation and proof that bear can become river whale because leg totally adds new information within the species but actually doesn't.

Yeah, it's that simple. The stupid fuckers are now the rock monkeys destroying everything.

So Draad, anything in the Bible that has been proven incorrect is fine because it is not a scientific textbook...
If the Bible explicitly says that God created Adam and Eve the only 2 humans on earth, we can just accept this as fact - because the Bible is not a scientific textbook?

Or that God killed all life on Earth except Noah's Ark, even though we can prove this never happened- we can just accept it because the Bible is not a book on science.
It is a damn good thing the Bible is not a scientific textbook - because if it was we would still be trying to invent fire.

Evolution is a fact. It disproves Genisys. (and the garden of Eden etc)
Look, I am not knocking religion. I believe it served a purpose in evolution, but I don't think it is relevant in the 21st century. Compare man-made laws to Moses' 10 commandments, their is no comparison.

I’d challenge anyone to provide a lens better or more practical than natural selection through which to view the world. I’ve yet to come across any idea, or set of ideas, that so simply explains so much. From infidelity and social interactions to the relationships between microorganism in the soil…natural selection has you covered. For me, without a doubt, natural selection has been the most influential idea in my life, by a country mile.
