"That seems to me like a very weak deterrent to stopping crime or terrorism related activity"

Fair enough, but that is subjective...… for instance, if you were the main bread winner with a family and have deep ties in where you live, and you knew that you faced immediate deportation if you were conclusively found guilty of "crimes against Britain" or whatever they may want to call it or enforce it..... and your family was comfortable and doing well in the UK, I definitely do believe that it would be a huge deterrent to openly start preaching hate speech about Britain on the streets as has happened in the past, or online like this guy decided to do.

"I absolutely support deportation of anyone engaging in terrorism or criminal acts, but only after they have served their prison sentence first. I'm pretty certain this is how most countries including the UK operate when it comes to crimes committed by a non national in their country"

Good point, my main issue I have with all of this, is that the guilty party should never have the benefit of living in the same country that he wants to attack and destroy, when found guilty of that kind of crime, so I would accept the prison time first, then deportation..... but definitely not what is currently happening now, which is serve your time, go back to the same streets and continue enjoying the luxuries and benefits of the UK lifestyle.... the lifestyle you openly want to decimate.

Well I think a better stronger deterrent is jail time and deportation.

I wonder does it happen on the scale you it think  it does when it comes to the deportation of Muslims. Is it mostly not a case that the people committing these acts are simply natives of the UK or have become citizens. Deportations do occur but  doing a quick check there is apparently 10,000 people living in the UK with criminal records that should be deported. Some of them are likely to be Muslim extremists but it looks to be more of a failing of the policing system in the UK in general than a willful decision to turn a blind eye to Muslim extremists and not deport them.

... and none of these are problems that Poland have to ponder.

And neither does Ireland. Poland has its own set of issues and compared to many western and central European countries it has a lower standard of living, that's why Poles flock to other EU countries and not the other way round.

Very possible yes, there are obviously a lot of different aspects to this issue which could be discussed at length, and also contribute to my overall distaste of the whole thing.

"but it looks to be more of a failing of the policing system in the UK in general than a willful decision to turn a blind eye to Muslim extremists and not deport them"

I don't agree... the UK are very well aware of who the main instigators are in the communities, and they seem to hold back for various reasons, one being the UK government's inability to clamp down timeously on extreme Muslims in the UK because they are so concerned about infringing on their rights or upsetting the Muslim community..... they are sometimes just far too politically correct.

To be clear, I am not saying that any particular incident or issue happens on any particular scale.... I don't need to......we all know already what damage can be done if only one or two people are indoctrinated with this hate speech.

This will never work out because Westerners are like Care Bears who think they know everything, whilst not understanding a damn thing about these cultures or that part of the world. You cannot under any circumstances allow a strong Islamic presence, they will always stick together and they will always seek to conquer every people group they are exposed to. You import a warzone, you get a warzone. The results speak for itself. Londonistan being a notable example.

Precisely my point
