There is a collective lack of pace in the loose trio where someone like Kriel was needed.
Will Meyer play an exclusive dom direct rugby with up and unders and rolling mauls being the extent of our attack and Burger ploughing into opponents being our main backline ploy
We shall have to see if Lood is fit and there is nothng we can do re Kriel. Unfortunately Kolisi is a quota pick and hopeless so we have no pacy loosie worth his salt.
We can however use our backs intelligently running off good ball without a forward always being the main actor.Please note this:

 JW what we do know is that wee mcaaaaw couldnt. 
Burger is the better athlete, bigger stronger, more robust and altogether a better player. Plays the game honestly and doesnt have to cheat etc.
All mus applaude Burger, man of the match against Wales. meanwhile wee mcaaaw was subbed early and look pretty battered even againt the pap Frogs!

 Beano they may well have our number. I doubt we will underestimate an opponent for a second or possibly third week in a row and I hope we are up for it. Our form has not been too good in reality. Some god defence against Wales glossed over a poor performance otherwise and we all saw what happened last week. I am definitely nervous. The All Black will not be.

 Read the post of JW re where the Boks are better. The abs are wetting themselves.They know for example that Savea hasnt yet got a test try against the Boks and wee conrad and mothe nonu were outplayed by Allende and Kriel.If Lood is fit and Meyer unleashes the players we could well win this match as virtually all agreed we were the better side last time round with a match day squad weakened by a nunber of injuries. the wee abs know this.
Lets have a final of Boks and Argies. Two noble sides worthy of a final.

 I am going to express a contrary opinion and that is the tendency of the AB's to beat themselves in the WC than having an opposing team beating them.  This has been in evidence on numerous occasions in the past as is evidenced from the following examples where it happened when the AB's were the over-whelming favourites and lost the games during the tournaments:-
*   The 16 - 6 loss against the Aussies in the 1991 world cup semi-final*   The 15 - 12 loss against the Springboks in the 1995 word cup final*   The 43 - 21 loss against the French in the 1999 world cup semi-final*   The 22 -18 loss against the Springboks in the 1999 bronze medal play-off*   The 22 - 10 loss against the Aussies in the 2003 word cup semi-final*   The 20 - 18 loss against France in the 2007 world cup quarter-final
Even the final they did win in the 2011 WC final the win was in a scrappy match won by NZ by a 1 point margin after beating France convincingly in the pool stage.
In all the above games the AB's were the over-whelming favourites to win the matches - yet they manage to lose them after being brilliant in the pool statges and later.   It seems as if the situation resulted from some real problems in the team psychology under WC related stress.   
It did not happen thus far in the present tournament - the only match they struggled in was against the Argentinians.  In all other games they won easily - with noticeable uncharacteristic deficiencies noticeable - bar in the quarterfinal where they had a faultless game - helped along by a limp French side.
Although their was after each loss a list of reasons (eg the celebrated Suzie in 1995 and Barnes in 2007) - the fact is the AB's lost close matches they should have won.
That means that there is still a possibility of a loss by the AB's on Saturday and even though everyone else refer to the French handicap of the past that the AB's beat by a huge margin has been eliminated - what about the Springboks challenge.  There may a difference as to the SA team - but Meyer's player selections may benefit the AB's - and I will make a more specific forecast once the teams have been announced.                  

 Mike in a rwc situation the ref issue is sometimes not as torrid as in the RC. If there is a fair competent ref chances are they will lose. The wee abs also lack bottle as even their most harded fans have to admit.

Of course the ABs & their loyal fans are modest & show respect of their old rivals. We are looking forward to the day when a wee chap called Beeno does the same. One has to remain optimistic

 Meyer did not commit rugby hara kiri in his team selection - bar putting Matfield on the bench.  The AB's knows he is deficient in Tight 5 play and is going to target the Tight 5 when he comes on.  

 You are right as usual Hasbeeno. Your "world class" midfield of DA and Kriel certainly dominated Nonu and Smith that day. What did the Boks win by in that match? Can't recall so please enlighten me...

 Well if you atke out the refs assists moooo lalalalla it was a comfortable win for the Boks. Also take out mccheats cheat.  JW respect is earned not given. Too much corruption surrounding nz rugby. Clean up your act and then we can talk. I am not holding my breath.
