For me the definition was clear as daylight - but you missed the essence of it.   There is no way that definition entails a prediction.   Sorry but if you think it entials a prediction - you are talking absolute tripe.   It is the exact opposite - because it refers to an unpredictable  event.
Look I definitely said the Boks were going to loose matches this year and they lost two less than i said.   I have never made a secret of it neither did not deny it.  Dave probably flt the same - but he did not make a prediction as assumed by you and Mozart.   The word "prediction" is the problem here.
Unfortunately "whatever you want to call it"  is in this case meaningless.  Mozart used a precise term "prediction"  - which was a deduction made by him and was inaccurate.  I merely reflected on that inaccuracy.

Another cop-out, ou Maaikie . Which games did you predict that we would lose? Think carefully now.

The Welsh test (first one) - the Aussie tests and the AB tests.   Was wrong with three of those.  Sorry it was three elss than I said - not two.   There were no other tests where I made predictions.

Asked to tell the truth that is obvious to all....the OOM tries to attack the messenger. A sad case who in one thread is losing the little credibility he has left. The truth please OOM....there is no rule you have to use the word prediction in making a prediction, none at all.

"cant say the same for the insult of a side Meyer has come up with - it is not a true Bok side and the only way things will change is if they get thumped week after week, which I predict will happen."...posted in early June

"If the Welsh cannot beat this side then I honestly don't know.

We're ripe for the picking."...says Clean Gene. In the very next post Sapp says

"Agreed" and nothing else.

And then Sapp says this, which is a clear prediction:

"The ONLY chance the Boks have of beatingWales is if that useless Morne Steyn is injured in the opening minutes and replaced by a real rugby player in Goosen"

Morne Steyn was not replaced in the opening minutes....so according to Sapp we had no chance of beating Wales.

So lets sum up....Sapp bets on a World win by saying his money would be on the World team. He predicts a Wales win, with the caveat that replacing Morne in the opening minutes might give us a chance. Without that no chance.

This against a backdrop of his comment that we were going to lose week after week, before the Welsh test.

And to complete his seven straight predictions against the Boks, Vetsak says

"I am going to ram this all down your throat when Oz and NZ beat us in all 4 tests in a few weeks time"

Ram away Fat Man.

This story again.
Moz, two or three weeks back you started a thread in which about 90% of the posters agreed that Saff had predicted a loss. Your evidence on that thread was way more convincing.

Lets get this straight - did Dave gave a score for and against the Welsh - or did he is prepared to lay a bet?   Nobody has evr recovered a thred in which he was specific.   If he says he is prepared to lay a bet - that ipso facto is not a prediction.   What was it?
You came up with a story about laying a bet - and then claimed  because of that he made a prediction.   If that is the case - you are wrong and I was only pointing out to you that you cannot make a deduction like that which would lend your statement legitimacy.
Was it against the World team or was it against the Welsh - you previously hammered on about the Welsh test- now it is the World `15 game?   Which one was it?  if you continue with your claim against the Welsh then you are on thin ground ehre unless you produce a thread where Dave actually made a prediction.
I was merely use your own words to point out an illegiitimate deduction made by you - nothing else.  You then turned around and called me a liar - that really is the bottom of the rubbish pile.
Produce the threads where you said he made a prediction and rmmber where he referred to Morne Steyn.   Morne only statrted in one RC test - where he buggered up so badly that he is totally out of contention now.   Not that he did not try to bugger up the two tests against Argentina - he made at least one bugger-up in each when eh came off the ebnch and you said - Morne won the tests for us - what a joke.
It is no use  "Asked to tell the truth that is obvious to all."   is not an issue here.  Based on what you said I gave the correct cversion of what really is the case - and you failed to recognoise it.   Calling me a liar for that is absolute BS.
No wakke up and provide the exact contribution Dave made about the Welsh test - which was your original statement and thenit will be clear about the issue.  If you have the proof provide it and I will support your contention - if you have not accept that you have taken a chance and ended up with egg all over your face.

I asked for proof and all Mozart gave was to call me a liar.  I will not bale out as a result -  you admonish me to be civilto him and a try to be so - but he was the one with the personal attacks.
What did I say to him - provide the proof and I will support youut so far there was none tha could e regarded legally as appropriate - I am still waiting and that is as far as it goes  at this stage.   If it is an assumption of mozart that he did may a prediction - based on something outside of the emaning of the word "prediction" - then there is no legitinacy and the whole discussion is a storm ina tea cup.

And then there is, of course, the case of the moving goal posts........... We are now down to ou Dawie not giving a score:

"Lets get this straight - did Dave gave a score for and against the Welsh - or did he is prepared to lay a bet? "

Moffie I am still waiting for my ACTUAL predictions made against the World 15, Wales x2 and Scotland you lying prick.......these little deductions, or conclusions or probabilities do not amount to actual predictions relating to particular games......it does not constitute material evidence of a prediction made by myself for none exists.

I only made 4 predictions and that is a FACT

Now stop ducking and diving and just provide the material evidence of my predictions against the World 15, Wales x and Scotland.......its a simple task really, you either have that evidence or you don't?

Man up old timer and deliver

The ONLY chance the Boks have of beatingWales is if that useless Morne Steyn is injured in the opening minutes and replaced by a real rugby player in Goosen"

This is called a contingent prediction in statistics. You are predicting a Bok loss, short of Goosen replacing Morne in the first few minutes.

Goosen did not replace Morne in the first few minutes.

Thus the prediction is activated. It's very simple. Everybody else sees it, but Mike is lying on his own string calling for honesty.  So why am I not surprised you two fools would lie to save your own skins...it was ever thus.

There is sound reasons why the World team is a better selection than Meyer's geriatric concoction.   It was punted as from January 2014 as a test - now suddenly it is not one.
And for every failed player without any performance record selected by Meyer an excuse has already been concocted.
So the excuse have already been designed.  "This is not a test and my selection was based to determine the value of the geriatrics for the future.  If they fail - no problem - they would have learnt from the loss - so I will just keep them."

Sure there was corruption prior to 1994 without any doubt.
But to me it appears that the present officials have really perfected corruption way beyond anything ever thought possible.
There is an old saying that states that "all men have their price" .
This has been proven to be true in SA.
Unfortunately.

back tpo the original thread.   I think the problem is that the present crowdis so blatant about it.  The also klnow that they have a corruption circle and all members protect each other.  They annot afford that the circle be broken - becasue then somebody might squeel and come out with the truth.   Every senior politico has something to hide and it get worse all the time.   The circle members steall more and more and the poor Auditor General and Public Protector are trying their ebst to keep things under control - but without much success.

The moral of the story for poor Saffex is that he cant call people idiots who disagree with him - especially when he gets proven wrong repeatedly.

He predicted losses due to team selection and the coach.
Even the fans were conservative idiots for supporting the coach and team. Meyer is surely rated as an expert in rugby and could probably get just about any rugby job in the world.
Although Saffex will never learn.....He will be back in a few days as a self proclaimed rugby expert. He will know the best players to select, the best game plan, and not even the AllBlacks will challenge... blah, blah...
What should be entertaining is his ongoing contribution on Twitter and ruckersforum "twitter" site. He has allready called Johan Ackerman an idiot on Twitter to one of the coaches players, as well as given selection tips to Meyer.....A player that Meyer was involved with when at the Bulls. He is telling someone to drop their career with Conaght, after being dropped by Leinster- to come back and challenge for the Boks...

Oh brother.......

Everyone here is a good poster in their own right, people clearly have different views on how to get the Boks to the top but rugby would be boring if people agreed all the time. Dave, Moz,  Mike, Beeno,  etc all make really good rugby points - you all clearly know the sport. To be honest most of you know it way better than me which is I started reading this forum.
