Adrian Strauss to replace the sinking Bismaark

Th are a less-formidable side already.  What with Jannie, Matfield, Pienaar and Steyn in the mix - they are less   formidable already - so Bismarck adds to that problem.   

 Wardad, we are all a little in awe of wars, so am I ...terrible things wars, it's really horrible killing your fellow man...normally guys that if circumstances were different you could have been the best buddies with.

The non sense of politicians, the kings, the queens and dictators that send us in to kill and annihilate each other. It's really bull dust!

I've Irish ancestrory, grandpa was an early settler in SA he married my grandmother who was also an immigrant from France...this equals my father or daddy. Mom's dad was from Scotland and my grandmother was from Germany (never met her , she died when she was 32). No pommy blood but all the feuding nations. I was  born in the huge city of Ixopo...Alan Patons town in KZN...old boy from my school...Maritzburg College (also quite good at rugby in the old days...aLAN pATON WAS A LIBERAL GUY THAT WROTE "cry the Beloved Country"...they made a film out of it...Richard Harris played the major guy in it. A very likeable man Richard Harris, incidently met him and his wife, Anne Turkle in the seventies at the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Cape Town whilst filming "The Wild Geese@ a mercinary film...any way I'm going off the subject.

We all have our differences and we all tend to judge our fellow man within our spectrum.

I've been married before to a SA girl, most unhappy relationship that ended in disputes about many things, mainly money, the thing that seems the go between in the western world , love and hatred. The bible correctly instructs us that the root of all evil is the LOVE of filthy lucre and that's true but money in itself is not evil but only in the way you treat it, love it beyond other things and make it your god. Money is not evil in ITSELF if you use it to do GOOD things.

Crickey, I've really digressed here, but the point I really want to make here is that wars are necessary , just like adversity in life, sacrifices have to be made, wars are indeed evil, just look at the waste of life but wars a product of man's evil and greed...I know there a lot of unbelievers here and scornful oaks but God rules and evil comes from our selfish hearts and disobedient tend ancies and mostly from our pride, self deception and vanities. Every single one of us is not exempt from this...this the bottom line problem.

War enables us to settle the differences but we do by obliterating each other (we do this we caution today because we are aware on nuclear power) a force that once started will finish us all off.

At the moment we have the crisis in the Ukraine and Middle East.

My missus is foreign, actually Russian, her parents live in the capital, Moscow,her grandpa was a survivor but has passed on in the battle of Stalingrad. I must say I love these most misunderstood people in the whole world...they are good people led by different ideals, some good, some bad but no different than ours and at times when you sit down and weigh it all up, a lot better and kinder and nicer people that love God more than us...we are terribly self centred and arrogant and very ignorant what happens elsewhere.

The bottom line of wars is started from greed and self interest, disguised by red herrings.

Sport and competition and achievements are the way we pacifically deal with our problems today but the vast issues cannot be resolved in violating each other.

Enough said...got something off my chest! I'm outa here before I cause a mole and troll conflict

 Hey Seb ,I see like myself you hae had a couple of turns on the Marry-go-round oh well practise and all that eh ? I think JWs missus is a Russian lass too? I read both the wild geese and cry the beloved country, saw the movies too and Harris in" a man called Horse " was awesome [ was him wasnt it ?] As for war although not a fan of Churchill I do agree with his "Its better to jaw jaw than to war war ..." sentiment.My Grand-dad and his brothers and cuzzies were in the NZ army in WW2 ,they spent any down time either playing rugby, eating the local flora and fauna or looking for booze and girls [ not much in the way of grog and girlies in the Western desert any grog was home made mostly and put hair on yer chest while the local women already had hair on theirs...] which is a universal past time for all soldiers .Some came home with Italian girls too .Rugby is great no matter where its played , on the UK rugby show they did a story on rugby in the arctic circle ! 

The same thing happened last year. Bismaark cant scrum against the Argentinians. Lets see how Adrian Strauss fares.
