@Ceradyne
Here is a list of commemorative days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_commemorative_days

So are you saying that everyone should know everyone of these days and celebrate them? And that no one is allowed to comment unless they commemorate the days in the way you think is right.
List on page only goes until May due to space restrictions

@Beeno. You are probably one of those libtarts who view soldiers, and especially fallen soldiers, as just another bunch of worthless hooligans.

This is an incomplete list that may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help by expanding it with reliably sourced entries.

This article lists articles about notable observed commemorative days used by various governments, groups and organizations to raise awareness of an issue, commemorate a group or event, or celebrate something.

I think that you should start to consider to stop digging my friend. I have not said that you should have known what it was about. I have said that one should not rubbish it if you know nothing about it. Go check again what I said about the two choices.

 That list is incorrect......it is only showing the Americanised Mothering Sunday, ours always falls in March ! And there are many other days that could be listed on there, amongst the more " unusual " topics.

Peace to all comemorating anzac day and of course respect for all except warped DUD and the loonie dense denny! When they regain their sanity respect to them also. But only a very little. Chances are they will remain in the wilderness of no respect.
We owe all the real warriors a great deal (Not the pen pushers in camaflage dress like ou warped DUD). May they RIP.
Sadly though in time they will all be forgotten. Heck nobody has even mentioned anzac day in my hearing.
Sharkbok if you want to know the way to heaven read the bible. You will find God the Son saying - "I am the Way, and the Truth and the Life, Nobody comes to the Father but by Me.  Seek therefore to enter through the only gate to Heaven which is Christ. There is no other way. NONE.

 Its great when some other stuff comes up at times. The Mighty Stormers are worthy of much comment but there are other things in life.

Beeno, you make it sound like you have your ticket booked to Heaven, correct me if I'm wrong but the last time I checked there was a sign up at the gate...."Lunatic free".

It has to be if it's  ummm ..Heaven.
