Argentina finds their mojo

Not much written on here about Argentina's current form. Their win against Ireland was impressive and highly entertaining and a culmination of a multi-year overhaul of their organization and approach to the game.
Along with Japan, they have to be the best story of the tournament. Too bad Ole Cruz isn't here to tell us about it

The Pumas have been a breath of fresh air at this tournament. After losing a closely fought encounter with the All Blacks in their opening game, they've been brilliant and they've won their games with style and panache.
I've also tipped them in Superbru in every game since their opener and my Fantasy teams are all stocked up on reasonably priced high-scoring Pumas.
The team of the tournament for me. Hope they can smash the Wallabies on Saturday and go one better than their 2007 achievement.

 I've got this sneaky suspicion that we will lose against them....in the final.

 Based on the quarterfinal performances of Australia and Argentina in the quarters and bearing in mind the fact that Argentina was playing the 6 Nations trophy-holder and Australia the no 5 on the log in that competition - I think that the Argentinians are foing to beat the Aussies on Sunday.
That despite the fact that Folau and Poc ock did not play in the Scotland test.   Sanchez is probably the most under-rated flyhalf in the tournament - he will make sure that Folau is largely eliminated from being a factor in the game.
My guess is Argentina to win by 9 points.    .     
      

When South Africa lost to Argentina I was thinking the were actually better than given credit for. When they choose a first choice team- they are good. 

I spoke to Old Cruz on Twitter and he says that he misses everyone. I also spoke to his mother, and grandmother. The pigeon then flew the nest. 

The Pumas have been a great success story and it's a nice story...they really deserve it....the point of open expansion of rugby bearing fruit ( coming on board the Championship Comp...the Tri Nations was a monopoly). Japan should be next to join this select outfit.

I want to see Georgia come on board the 6N and become 7 nations.

Also The Pacific Islanders. Tonga, Samoa and Fiji. Romania, USA and perhaps Canada should be exposed to playing Tier 1 teams more often...if they are good enough to play in WC, why not in between?

Too many club, franchise rugby houses chasing big bucks will ruin the game and leave far too many cripples in it's wake

This is the way the IRB should develope the international game.

 I hope the Pumas end the wobs run of "luck " and restore some balance to the cosmic all .....then they can play the ABs in the final ! 

 Thanks Wardad. Your well wishes mean alot. I had a feeling Scotland would beat us last week and I was wrong so I am hoping the feeling I have that Argentina may roll us will also be false. Praying for a Wallaby All Black final with Craig Joubert on the whistle.

Hoping for a Bok/Argies final. Lets see the down under dingoes   duly dispatched and disposed of. 

 Beeno more chance of us being there than the Bokke.
