IMHO there appears to be gaps between the excellent coaching youngsters receive in schools rugby and that of senior level...this might be a problem. Are our coaches that good? Are our coaches less effective than the NZ'ers.

The only one that really has done and improved things is Ackerman of the Lions...

Definitely something wrong in the Sharks, Bulls and even Stormers camps!

Our junior rugby is very sound...thanks to

Sean Erasmus; Paarl Boys High

Hein Kriek; Paul Roos

Hans Coetzee; Monument

Christoff Lotter; Paar l Gym

Alec Strydom; HTS Middleburg

Wessel Du Plessis; Grey College Bloem

Kevin Taylor; Selbourne College

Mike Schwartz; Michaelhouse

Omar Mouneimne and Gareth Wright (kicking coach); SACS

Ryan Strudwick and Francois Lubbe (ex Kearsney); Maritzburg College

Could there be really something here???

Food for thought is it not?

What the hell are Taylor and Wright doing in that august group....but maybe it's one of the Flemish W rights.

As for Sean Erasmus the guy just has to be a fake.....give me Boetie Ersamus or Sean O Mahoney. But Sean Erasmus, you have to be kidding!
