There was no dirty play from the big man.....just huge grunt, authoratative lineout work and some defence out wide. Etzebeth is great, but Bakkies is still high test quality.

Flip Flop is turning into a power house, who would have thunk it. Our front row was good in all it's manifestations, but next week will be a better test. And Vemeulen was huge....as was Alberts while he was on the park. I hope Louw is okay.

And how about HM, he just keeps showing us different options while winning by big margins. The only time helots the plot this year was in the last AB test, which could have turned out differently if we weren't chasing tries.

So my " support of Etzebeth went out the window" Tokkie? Hahaha, caught again....I now have a counter on you.

Botha was not high test quality at all in that game - he was in fact poor in execution and if you doubt that go and look at the stats for that test.   
Alberts was huge in the Ellis Park Test in 2013  in missing a crucial tackle on Read leading to a try and falling over his own feet clumsily when he should have tried to recover a tackle ball when Aaron Smith was tackled and he was next to the tackle and should easily have recovered the ball and prevented a try scored by Messam.   What else did he do to make him huge?  A huge flop if you ask me.
That sentence on Etzebeth I missed out in reading the undeserved praise of Bakkies.  He in fact had a below par game against a weak Scottish team.   Maybe I was so upset about that praise song that I missed out on the rest.

Stick to the point...show me where I gave up on Etzebeth after Bakkies played against Scotland. 

You might eat crow in the USA , Moz but I prefer pheasant in England, grouse and partridge in Scotland and guineafowl in SA.

It is like comparing old has beens,dear old Victor, Bakkies with Morne sauce (crows) tough and tasteless with freshly clipped game fowl...the taste is like chalk to cheese

 Good answer Moz but missing the point...we are talking of desirability and taste. Toughness is only a part of game that can be overcome with correct preparation but Crows, like Bakkies, Victor and Morne don't qualify for the pot...tasteless and dour, only fit for breeding stock...they must nest breed young prodigny and retire....let the young 'uns take over.

Oh I missed the point..hahaha. I obliterated the point Chabal. You guys can dream your dreams of youngsters running gloriously through the mud. I remember Jannie de Beer, in the middle of a driving squall lining up a 40 metre kick to get the Boks into extra time against Oz in  the 99 semi. Jannie delivered...that's the kind of player I want ...a fierce competitor.

 A fierce competitor without the physical ability to deliver is useless.   Problem is the fierce competitors you support are not up to standard and their competitiveness has been nullified - so what is their use at present?   Better a player who can in fact compete than one who may have had the reputation of being a fierce competitor, but is nothing of the kind at present.
