Henry must love these Bools games. Last year he ran right round a lumbering Steppie as if he was planted. Today he hands off Odendaal and the makes mince meat of poor JJ. Of course JJ has been done before by the much lighter Barrett....but this was still horrible to watch. In goes JJ for his standard jersey grab only to be ignominiously rejected.

 

 

When will our centres learn within the 22 when your opponent is outside you....the only tackle is a committed low tackle.

Liarmike,  the posting makes perfectly clear why Step is included. Everybody in the group has been burned by Speight for a try. Try to follow the bouncing ball.

 Thank god JJ isn't the worst defensive centre like de Jongh, who knows what might have happened then. Perhaps a tackle might have occured. Some of JJ's tackles make me wonder if he is in the right profession; his first instinct seems to be to give the ball carrier a shoulder rub. Best 13 since readmission kind of stuff! (Laughing so hard right now). As for Serf, he did well against the Chiefs, he offers some nice touches and, unlike DA, has a feel for the position. But when all is said and done he still cannot handle the power game. And unfortunately at test level that is exactly what he will be facing.

Just a pity about the bullshit that the lighter Barrett did JJ in, implying it was a physical thing......and you are calling Mike a liar......wow.


JJ was beaten fair and square, good step to take him on the outside, with JJ having to go high and getting handed off beautifully......its rugby......big deal

Fact.......much like Barrett beating Jean, Morne and JJ had stuff all to do with physicality
