How good was Rabada in that last over

Agreed, was a great last over, and saved the game for SA

 Rabada was very good in that last over - taking two wickets and limiting the Indians to 1 run off the last ball bowled - a real star performance.  
De Villiers hit a six of off the last ball bowled by the Indians and since the score was in both cases 297 runs - De Villier's 6 and the one run Rabada gave away was the outcome determiner in the case of that game won by SA by 5 runs.
Great performance by both.  Incidentally De Villiers was on 98 with two balls to spare.  The Indian spectators were on their feet cheering him on and waving "6" signs when the ball was being bowled and when he did hit the 6 they went wild.   He is a big hero in India because of his involvement in the IPL. 
Rabada is a very promising youngster and if he carries on like he did thus far in his career he is going to to places.  He is likely to get an extremely good offer for the IPL based on that performance - soon to be a multi-millionaire.
Incidentally it is likely that AB's income from IPL and the Club Championship will next year exceed R20 000 000.   But then he is a freak - by some distance the best batsman ever in the history of cricket.               

  

Rabada needs to be drafted into the test side  

 One of the few times the Proteas have come through at the death. Steyn had just bowled a pretty awful over, so we were all set for another debacle. The kid looks good and I liked his ball into the ground gesture... he enjoyed the challenge.

Impressive! He must have notched it up a bit when I turned the telly off.

He bowled excellently in that final over, to have the bottle to bowl an over like that in the pressure cooker at only 20 is really something. He's coming along really well and will only improve. 

And Chippo, I think he's more than capable of 150/155kph, I think they told him to down pace and concentrate on line and length at the moment, and obviously when the control comes to really bowl express pace.

But for a 20 year old, it's truly staggering pace.

No he never bowled 150 kph in that game....the pitch was too slow
He bowled 152 kph in one of the T20 games
He has an aggressive streak in him....saw that when he played for the SA u19 side......but in the first T20 he had words with one of the Indian bats who had hit him for 6......he climbed into him and the umpires had to intervene......the kid has fire in his belly.

 Saffex did you say that ridiculous 14/105, including a 9/33 in one of the innings,  he took a few months ago? Unbelievable stuff. 

He also seems to be very well grounded, which is nice. Here's hoping he's the latest South African pace king.

Yeah he broke the domestic record, then took 6 wickets against Bangladesh on debut or something which is also a record

 Today is the second ODI against India.   Would be very interesting to see how the game goes.   Hope Rabada does as well as he did on Sunday.
