I ask you repeatedly where all this wonderful attributes you ascribe to Frans actually happened since 2012.  There has been no evidence over the past three years of any outstanding defensive and attacking play by Steyn.   There is unfortunately only mystical obscurities conveyed as factual in what you wrote.  Because he is slow and clumsy - Steyn is the easiest center imaginable to tackle - if he was as strong as you say he is his lack of line breaks and extremely small number of tackle breaks would not be in evidence.  You are entitled to your opinion about Steyn's theoretical abilities - I prefer facts not fiction.
Just one question.   If "Damians physical limitations in upper body strength" is factual and not a figment of your imagination - how come De Allende shrugged off two attempted  tackles of Steyn with Steyn landing on his backside behind De Allende  in the Shark Stormers game earlier this year? 
Two further quotes is also a figment of your imagination:-

Are you talking here of Super 15 as well?   Anyway you are imagining things that really is quite funny.   90% of the line and tackle breaks of De Allende is head-on - and for that he had the highest number of such breaks for any center in Super 15 this year.   He scored more tries this year in Super 15 than Steyn did over the last three years in Super 15.   In the World 15 game he scored two tries - so where did you get that no-tries statement from.
It would be better if you stick to reality with your statements and not revert to prejudicial statements without any substance whatsoever.

1. No, I say we can have a look at FdP if he is fit, only the coaching staff will know if he is really fit. I said Francie had a great run at 15...way back. Did not say he should be the Bok starter there. If fully fit, he can be useful on the bench, covering all but scrumhalf. I still believe he has done nothing in recent years to be considered ahead of the current Bok starters.

 The Sharks was the best of  poor SA franchises and the promotion of Steyn did not help them at all - the matches they won were won despite Steyn being playing - whether he played at 10 or 12. He played for the Sharks at flyhalf against the Force this year and made an unholy mess of the game - and after the game it was clearly stated in the media that he is a dead loss at flyhalf.
Dave is 100% correct - Steyn does not have the software and his decision-making is as slow as his hand to foot action is.   As a result a major proportion of his kicks are inaccurate and aimless.   
Steyn has been way below expectations now for nearly four years since his return from France and there has been no improvement in his performances - matter of fact he is now even poorer than he was in 2012.
