Hypothetically, if Habana was a Kiwi or Aussie how many tries would he have got?
Currently he's got 64 in 114 for the Boks, as well as the joint most WC tries.Which is really excellent. But, if he played for one of the All blacks or wallabies and their superior back line play how many more would he have got?

Habs made tries out of nothing for the Boks...against the best. No ifs and buts, but he deserves the record and from the 30+'s in the team, I hope he gets a few games after the RWC, AND achieve the all time record, but sadly, I think he won't stay on.

Most defenitely Draad, I just think to have that record for us is outstanding, considering we're not the most enterprising of teams in the backline.

Four wasted years under Peter, and in the rout of Australia Nokwe had replaced Habana. That was four tries gone for him. I know they were easy walk ins, but still. Habana deserves a shot at #1. He could have had it. He also had two tries disallowed in the 2007 RWC, one for a supposed forward pass against Samoa. It wasn't even close. He had a burst against NZ in 2008, the 18-0 defeat, he smoked four defenders and dotted down but his boot grazed the line by a mm and it was ruled out. In 2007, the first England WC game, Fourie fumbled the ball over the line with Habana on hos shoulder screaming for the ball. There were so many opportunities for Habana to #1 overall. Were he to have played for NZ he would have scored alot more. For Australia? No, it's only over the last year that their attack is functioning, so I disagree that he would have been better off there.

And to think Dave preferred to field 7 other different players before Habana in this world cup side
Makes no sense at all
