I cant support this shit Bok side and I have had enough of the JJ bashing!

We are all frustrated with Meyer's selections but be honest with yourself. Have you known any different from SA rugby since 1998?

This is why we will spend our lives challenging the AB's but we will never be better than them consistently. Never.

We are fooling ourselves that we can be number 1 for any length of time because we have greedy pricks higher up than that fly under the SA rugby banner yet are so out of touch with the team and what goes on. Until you have passionate rugby men from ground level up, you will always just have people in jobs looking out for themselves and thats what we have.

You are kidding yourself too that you can break ties with the green and gold. Every year we are left disappointed yet every year we come back for more..

AB's dont realise it but they have it so easy. They have the right ppl in the right places and their biggest worry is when to blood the next great!

It is frustrating to deal with the non-thinking on this sit - I know that and often thinks about leaving myself.   Instead of being listening to reason - the members often enough go  on and think that they are the only knowledgeable people about rugby and rubbishing some players and supporting the non-performing players based on prejudice.  

While I myself question some aspects of the defence of Engelbrecht - I recognise that he has positives as well.   Lets look at the rubbish they support instead of Engelbrecht:-

*   Juan de Jongh - the worst SA Super 15 defender - statistically proven - misses tackles because he is such a strong tackler - never hear such bullshit in my life before.   He buggers up in tests, does nothing on either defence or attack - but to some he is the answer at 13;

*   Jacque Fourie allows Davies to run past him like it is unbelievable and in general did squat in the Welsh test other than to follow up a Du Preez kick from an off-side position - pick up a ball from a favourable bounce and flip pass the ball back to Du Preez who was in the clear and scored a try.   If there was a TV review of the try - the rubbish would have had serious negative consequences for the Springboks - but that is ignored.   Slow as a carthorse - he made all his tackles against the poor Scottish players - so now he is "organising the defence" of the Springboks backline.   Fourie had a 3 meter advantage over Maitland who had to turn around after a kick ahead - had to start running whilst Fourie was running full out - he got 2 meters ahead of Fourie in the end - but Fourie "kept pace" with him - an outright lie.

If you point out that Morne Steyn is by far a  worse defender than Engelbrecht  - you are committing lese majeste - the latter can do no wrong.   Bakkies Botha did squat against the Scots - proven statistically - but he is a worthy Springbok because he is a "leader".   Meyer win tests against poor opposition - despite rubbish selections - but he can do no wrong.  

A person can prove factually that they are wrong in what they write on this site - yet they keep up the rubbish they dish out.   Its frustrating I know - but I tend to treat their opinions on performances as a joke in bad taste.   Get the hell in at times - but it is useless - so it is better to stay around - and laugh at their prejudiced hogwash.

Saffex, you staying or going is not going to change the fact that JJ is not a test quality defender.

If you think there are other SA rugby websites out there where the members all think JJ is a test quality defender then good luck finding them. Wherever I've looked the comments are pretty much the same as on this forum . . . JJ is a decent enough attacking centre but he's a poor tackler.

Can't believe you supported the Boks during the Twakkie era but now you can't support them anymore when Heyneke Meyer is in charge.

You bunch of muppets, as if I would leave or no longer support the Boks.......if I left it would leave you sad lot holding hands in a circle agreeing on how great it is to have a bunch of old farts in the side or how wonderful Morne is.

Yes Rooi maybe in sunny SA you lot are a bit backward.......but if you sent someone a text or e-mail here with a ! at the end - you are joking, not that I really give a shit as to whether you think I was joking or not.

I am telling you it was a joke, if it does not wash with you then so bloody what. Take it or leave it

The stooges are at I again -  it is evident that there combined rugby brain is about the size of a pin prick and that they cannot understand when people think about issue and dare to express a different opinion.

I can put the clowns on this site  into one group and the mostly thinking people into another.   The first  have one thing in common - they believe in their own rank stupidity and think others should do the same - they thrive on one incident in matches to be career-defining in respect of players they dislike - the players they like can bugger up matches on their own and not a word of true discussion would follow. 

The thinking people express their own opinions on players and does not accept horse manure as facts - even where they differ they have reasons for differences.

You will find that the clowns are always supporting Meyer - the thinking people do not support some of his preferences for players he used to coach nearly a decade ago without any regard as to their present performances.

My advice - stay around and laugh at the folly of the fools.
