I see Miller flopped again yesterday
I flopped all season, it happens......made one century, one 60 odd and averaged 30 odd......that after averaging 70 the season before and 50 odd prior to that.
I have not watched our innings from yesterday yet, watched us bowling where India were rescued by Dhoni
In the game before Miller got out at the end of the innings chasing it....went down the wicket to a spinner and got stumped......it happens.
Nay he is a class act, proved that a good few times already when SA were in crap.
I like him, cant believe Ril ee Rossouw is not playing though......madness
As a coach it must be mouth watering to know you have Pollard, Jantjies, Lambie and Goosen to work with....spoilt for choice as he is in all positions bar 15.
Jantjies......our best 10 this S15 by some distance.
Goosen will be playing 10 for the Stormers.....his career will be revived don't worry.....he is not enjoying his time in France....some Dutchies just cant live away from the plaas
Selective bullshit as usual
It was Millers time to come through.
Um know, he did not hang his bat out to dry.....he was forced to play a shot given it was on wicket and short of a length.......the fact that it reared up short of a length was beyond his control.......impossible to cater for a ball like that......your take on matters as per usual is way off the mark and that my friend is a FACT.
When I saw that dismissal I had to laugh out loud at your cricket knowledge.
A good fielder and an unreliable, big hitter.
Nay he got stumped in his previous innings running down the track at the end of the innings.....I have no issue with that.
But yes, that was the impossible ball.....for those that have played the game will know that a rising ball short of a length is one you have no means of controlling.....it will either hit your bat high on the splice, take the edge or miss the bat thankfully.
You are forced to play it given its length, the fact that it rears up is beyond your control
Given a tough target with no room for error Behardien, for all your criticism looks far more like a player that will deliver.
Wong Moz that is not the kind of ball openers deal with all the time.....that kind of rearing ball short of a length happens only very occasionally, unless the pitch is a very poor one
That kind of ball will have any bat, there is no way of combating it
willy le roux is the worst serial offender when it comes to milking it for all money, but im starting to see it more and more lately, even from some NZ players which is a huge shame.
but mozzies comment here really interested me...
"Too often to this chap....a great bat when it doesn't matter and a wimp when we need him to come through"
i feel the exact same way about the All Black goal kickers.
this would be cause for great concern if it wasnt for the fact that were the best attacking and try scoring team in the history of the game.
@mozzie,
