Jantjies loses his bottle
Spot on Flash but these clowns cant see the obvious or better still are stuck in a time warp.
Right now Jantjies is better than Lambie at his best, that is how good Jantjies is right now. For me he is our best 10 right now, his gift at unleashing his outside backs is second to none. Pollard is more direct but he does not have the deft touches that Jantjies has.
The lad is on fire, has such great attacking vision......something he has always had but he has always fallen under conservative coaches incapable of getting the best out of him.
Ackers and know have extracted the best out of him.....he is a sublime talent......the kind of player you love to watch.
Aren't you supposed to be canvasing Jantjies. Or are you being sarcastic? I'm genuinely confuddled, LOL.
So his ability to perform under pressure is his big hurdle. Saturday was not remarkable, except insofar as he played well, but didn't look good under pressure.
He has certainly improved his tackling this year, and he threw that long pass. But so did Beale who also folds under pressure....and Jantjies followed up the good one with a dangerous interception.
The thing is we don't have to worship these guys....they have friends and family to do that. We are tasked with judging them fairly but objectively. Objective criticism is a lot less damaging than losing a big game through a weakness which hasn't been fixed....and many can never be fixed.
Nope Moz you are wrong, he has matured as a player since 2012 and is physically bigger these days.
Given his year and the confidence he will have gained from it, there will be no going back for Jantjies.
He always had it, just never had a coach who showed faith in him. Ackers has done just that......the mark of a good coach. He recognised what I have always seen in Jantjies and invested in him.
When on Saturday did he not look good under pressure?
I can't help but see Quade Cooper when I look at him.
Conservative coaches wont select the likes of Jantjies and Cooper......progressive ones will......that's why NZ keep topping the rankings......mark my word young McKenzie will find his way into the NZ starting side soon......he is another Jantjies/Cooper.
These kind of players are gems, they ignite those around them.......its a gift that cant be taught.
I'm thrilled to say my son plays his rugby at 10 in that fashion
That's the problem.
Your problem is that you are so fucking pathetically conservative and out of touch that you are incapable of acknowledging the fact that both Cooper and Jantjies have long moved on as players.....both now complete and match winners today.......we are talking today you ignorant twat not 2 years ago.
Wake up
http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/sep/07/south-africa-australia-rugby-championship-match-report
"It was not a great night for Cooper in his long-awaited return to the No10 jersey as he struggled to spark Australia's under-pressure attack.
He also gave away the penalty that led to the Springboks storming to
an early lead with the reserve prop Coenie Oosthuizen barging past him
to score in the sixth minute.
Israel Folau's move to full-back failed to reap the rewards expected
as the game-breaker was often ignored out wide, while the Boks
impressive loose-forwards also forced a first-half penalty goal by
trapping him after a kick-return."
Are you surprised that he thinks Quade Cooper is crap?
Don't know why you bother with this clown. Just leave him to make a fool of himself and have a good laugh at his expense. That's what I do.
Let me be quite frank. jantjies at the Stormers was crap and his performance in the 2013 test dented his image and he lost a lot of confidence as a result. In 2014 Super 15 he did play a limited number of games since Marnitz Boshoff was the prefered flyhalf of Ackerman.
However, he did flourish in Super 15 this year and really was good. I hate to attack a player because of one match - but he factually was below par. Those three penalties missed one after another was not a good sign. Another poor sign was his four possession losses.
I think he had a bad day at the office and that happens to all players - look no further than Folau on Saturday. However, the problem centers around those three missed penalties where he was clearly nervous. The problem is that some doubt has been created as to his state of mind in crunch matches? Is he going to be nervous when the pressure is on? That shows a mental deficiency and it bothers me quite substantially. How would Meyer view what happened on Saturday - bearing in mind Jantjies past history. One would never know - but I have a feeling that M eyer may have developed doubts about Jantjies.
We will continue to have people talking up perennial failures like Quade Copper and Beale, until they finally stop talking them up. The reality is these are high variance players, but they lose far more matches than they win.
A Variant of course.
O Dofdoos - are you back from self-exile. Only Snakesh!t and Letsalbemorons missed you - without you this Board only had to take into account he two superliars and deceivers mentioned.
Now it seems to be back to the BSting Three Dofdose. What a spectacle of lies and deceit.
RE: Jantjies loses his bottle
June 03, 2015, 03:34:38 You arr just as dumb as ever. With variant was meant that the two players mentioned are a variant of rugby players. They grew into the variant of utterly useless players pretending classified by idiots as being capable of playing international rugby - but not successfully so.

You are the ultimate example, idiot. Let me mention one example. You have said elsewhere (on the thread where you were bleating to Ed again, like an old woman who is giving birth to a roll of barbed wire):
"Draad
I have apologized to him THREE times about what I wrote about his father and was hoping that was settled......"
You know, and I know that that is just another bag of BS. Your exact "apology" boiled down to: "I apologise for mentioning your father". That does not mean that you have apologised for saying that he had only one braincell and was only good enough to be a guard at an asylum.
Having said that, I cannot be bothered if you decide not to respond to this and I can also not be bother whether you do apologise or not. I just don't give a sh!t. Just don't f'king lie about it. Fact is that you are not interested in offering any apology, because then you would have done so in the first place. Better still, if you were anywhere near decent you would not have put it out there in the first place, but you are too much of a lowlife sc.umbag. Thank heavens I do not have a plank like you in my family or circle of friends.
OK - I apologise for saying "that he had only one braincell and was only good enough to be a guard at an asylum."
Not knowing him I under-estimated his abilities - which I should not have done. That was due to what I observe being your abilities and I wrongly assumed "die appel het nie ver van die boom geval nie" . That being said - welcome back from self-exile - it may have just happened that you did learn a minor percentage about rugby performance - some like 0.000001% would be a massive improvement on the same percentage you used to display.
You are right Rooi, I cant be bothered responding to the utterly rugby ignorant Lestat......I give up on him.
I mean he thinks de Wet Barry was great and Etzebeth is poor.....add that to your list
I had no doubt in my mind that, if there was any apology at all, it would never be an unconditional one. I was always expecting it to be heavily loaded with "ifs" and "buts" and that you would be trying find a way to exonerate yourself.
The answer is easy - leave the three village idiots to carry on amongst themselves to see who would be the biggest fool amongst the 3 of them and laugh at what they produce.
Moffie and Ceradunce are both complete hypocrites. They spend all day every day running ou Maaik down, insulting him and calling him a liar in the most derogatory and obsessive manner . . . and when ou Maaik gives it back to them then they get all self-righteous and indignant.
A few weeks ago a tearful Ceradunce said "to hell with these forums" and disappeared. I wonder what's changed that made him return . . . makes you wonder how often the poor little dear read this forum with his little lower lip quivering wondering why no-one was missing him or talking about him! LMAO!
Oh well, at least Moffie will be happy to have one of his Gimps back . . . and it's painfully obvious that the pompous and feeble-minded old windbag needs the support!
Fact is that it does not matter if your dad is alive or has passed away. I will never tell, and has never told someone, that his father (dead or still alive) only has/had one braincell and that he is/was only good enough to be a guard at an asylum. To brush it aside as a tongue in cheek remark is BS, because there was nothing tongue in cheek, from MIke's side in the discussion at the time. I said something that was genuinly tongue in cheek and which was a remark that my dad also used to make. I did nit believe something that Mike has said and I said: "Ja, Mike. En my pa is die pous". That was when Mike came up with the braincell story. He was p!ssed of because I did not believe him.
Then again, if you are OK with someone making snide remarks about your parents, then so be it. You would probably not see anything wrong with what has happened.
As for Rooinek's stance on it. He obviously thinks that it is quite OK, which puts him, IMO, in the same bracket as Mike and anybody else who thinks that it is OK to slag off other's family and their parents in particular. In my books, I draw the line at insulting someone's parents and family. That is a no-go and I would not do that. Not even to Mike and/or Rooinek.
I'm only asking because whatever change was made, I will campaign for it to be put back like it was!
Oh boy!!
I see nothing's changed here.
Family members still being targeted. Overly sensitive posters wanting to leave because of it.
"Sniff" ... "sniff"
Sounds like Mike's become the meany on this site.
Bout time if you ask me.
Yes, welcome back Klown. As crap as I've been in the S15 testrugby comp this year, it's some consolation that I'm still ahead of the Hapless Giants!
Thanks Blue ... good to know I'm missed ... by at least you.
Haaaaaaaahahahahahaha ... indeed Redneck. Had a few personal issues to attend to.
Wow ... a special thread just for those who like putting from the rough??? Can it be? Let me guess ... Mozart and Pakie had much to say ... right?
All in favour of buggery. Sick!!!
What's happened to the incredible form of last year? I seem to have kept up with you.
No matter ... can't win em all ... all the time.
