Joubert thrown to the wolves....Skene in the TMO box.

This is all classical defence of the club. Joubert had a shocker, but so did Skene....agitating for the Maitland yellow and failing to advise Joubert of the late tackle on Hogg. He shares the blame for an inept officiating performance that left fans upset.

But Skene is chosen for the Oz/Bargie semi.....in spite of pretty clear evidence he was in the Oz corner throughout the Scottish match. no doubt the anonymity of the TMO role helped his cause. Craig couldn't be rescued though and that led to a pretty bald statement that it should have been a scrum.
