Sorry Lunatic but this thread was about Katie and scientology and a lot of other banter.

If you want to start an anti Christian thread perhaps start a separate thread for those here , if any,  who would be interested.
As for Hakwa we are cool with him. He has  a great sense of humour and is a decent guy who gives and takes a ribbing in good spirit.

Try doing the same and your health will benefit greatly.

Lunatic I invited you to start an anti Christain thread if you wished glad tha tyou are a better man than to travel down that road but the choice was yours to make. I from my side will criticse Scientology forvery good reasons.

Let me fill you in a bit. My mother got involved in scientology for a number of years and dragged by elder boet into it as well. Both fortunately eventually came out of it when they came to appreciate what it was really about. I myself had a brief encounter with their auditing. In those days you held an emeter and were asked questions if there was no reaction you were clear on that issue. If there were an reaction you had what they called I think it was an engram. Now the idea was to go clear  -no engrams. This would improve your IQ and general well being they said. Operarting thetan was the ultimate levle t oreach and this whole process would save the world (sounds great but its all a load of twaddle). All of which cost money and all of which was a lot of nonsese.

One scientology acquaintance of my mother actually committed suicide. She decided to flit as they put it. It is an extremely dangerous pastime. It is a religion for tax purposes and its founder, a science fiction writer called Ron L Hubbard, made a fortune out of it.

However when you leave you are fair game. They will gun for anybody criting their organisation. Threats and blackmail and ruining of folks reputation or whatever they can do to shut them up. The last thing they want is an expose of their nefarious activities.  Hey now who does that remind you of!!!  Bwahahahahahaha  a light has dawned which could explain a lot!!

so Lunatic you are entitled to your wrong opinion and I am entittled to my correct one!!

SPIRO: SANZAR stuffs up referees for Reds and Crusaders   Columnist

By Spiro Zavos, 18 Jul 2012 Spiro Zavos is a Roar Expert

Robbie Fruen scoring the winning try in the 2012 S15 Final against the Sharks.

SANZAR has stupidly threatened the integrity of the qualifying finals this weekend between the Crusaders and Bulls and the Reds and Sharks by appointing two South African referees to officiate in matches involving two South African sides.

This stupidity runs against all the history and protocols of most major international sports where neutral referees are required for the big finals.

It is unthinkable, for instance, that a New Zealand referee, say, would have been appointed to referee the final of the 2011 RWC tournament when New Zealand played France.

Heineken Cup finals, too, are refereed by neutral referees. This system of neutral referees is long-standing (aside from Super Rugby) and is fair and is seen to be fair.

On Monday, though, SANZAR’s game manager, Lyndon Bray (an excellent referee in his day) announced that the South African, Paco Peyper, will be the referee for the Crusaders – Bulls match, with assistants New Zealanders Keith Brown, Glen Jackson and TMO Garratt Williamson: and that South African Jonathan Kaplan will be the referee for the Reds – Sharks match, with the South African Craig Joubert an assistant and the Australians James Leckie (assistant) and Matt Goddard as TMO.

The justification for these appointments, according to Bray, is that the two referees fulfilled three key criteria – overall performance, accuracy of the big calls and the ‘right fit for the game.’

Pardon my french but this is codswallop.

To begin with the last criterion first: Kaplan is well past his prime as a referee. How he can be regarded as the ‘right fit’ for a match between two sides that like to run the ball and play at a high pace is beyond my understanding.

Peyper being a ‘right fit’ for the Crusaders – Bulls match is even more objectionable. Peyper refereed the Bulls – Crusaders match at Pretoria earlier in the year. This match is infamous for the fact that the Crusaders were leading comfortably around the half-way mark when the Bulls forwards Flip van der Merwe and then Chiliboy Ralepelle claimed they were eye-gouged.

No evidence of the eye-gouging was produced, either to Peyper on the field and to the citing commissioner, who confirmed there was no case for the Crusaders to answer as the Bulls had not offered any evidence to support the on-field claims of Bulls players.

It is history now that on the back of eight successful penalties out of 10 shots at goal, Morne Steyne kicked the Bulls to a 32-30 victory.

Crusaders were unhappy with Peyper’s refereeing performance and demanded an apology from the Bulls for their offensive claims

We need some history to understand the implications behind the ditching of the neutral referee protocol.

In 2007 the South African officials were in control of the SANZAR refereeing appointments. They listed 10 front line referees, six of them South African. They also said that the practice of neutral referees would be dropped for pool round matches. They implied that for the finals the neutral referees system would be used.

In fact, local referees were used for some of the finals with Jonathan Kaplan refereeing the Bulls versus Chiefs final at Pretoria.

As someone has pointed out, how would the Bulls react if Bryce Lawrence had been appointed to referee the Crusaders versus Bulls qualifying finals match?

Now the referees appointments are controlled by the New Zealander Lyndon Bray out of Auckland. Unfortunately, he has continued with the practice of ignoring the well-established and long-standing practice of having neutral referees for the finals matches.

I have consistently argued that this is unfair to the referees themselves. They should never be exposed to unfair accusations from parochial and biased supporters. This, in turn, disturbs the notion that justice must not only be done but should be seen to be done.

This is an unacceptable stuff up on the part of SANZAR.

and all the Reds Fans say,"AMEN".

Hakwa you hound dawg! How can you be so insensitive to post a rugby item on this thread about Katie(andme)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to blacken Kaplans name by comparing him to that disgrace BL is monumental stupidity and reveals how out of touch nz is with world opinion - as reflected in BL and paddy being dumped by the IRB.

Was it not LYNdon Bray  -a nz oak - who SAID these two were the best refs in the comp.

Hakwa I will agree that neutral refs are the best. That said when we are involved we DO NOT CONSIDER OZ OR NZ REFS TO BE NEUTRAL IF WE PLAY NZ OR OZ.Get the yarpies is in in fact very much in play.

Get in a good English or french ref, I find English refs to be very fair.  Dispite all their faults the poms dont stoop to crooked levels. I guees they sent all the crooks down under. Hahahhahaahhaha Maybe Agie refs will help in the Rugby Championship.

Now please hakwa my good friend no more rugby on thIs Thread about KATIE (AND ME).

Hakwa encourages Katie Holmes to make bold move

Katie Holmes has made a bold move that will shift all of the attention from Tom to her. And I'm not talking about the fact that she won primary custody of Suri and picked the Sharks over the Stormers this weekend. Nope -- her latest plan is all about Katie, but Tom and the Stormers will surely be feeling the sting of her actions.

Yep, you guessed it! Katie Holmes is making a huge career comeback by heading to Broadway where she'll star in a comedy called Dead Accounts. She'll be playing a woman named Lorna who is shacking up with her parents until she gets back on her feet. (Huh. If circumstances were a bit different, this role could potentially mirror real life.)

And while Katie has appeared on Broadway before in All My Sons, this time is sure to be very different. Because now Hakwa is rooting for her because Hakwa is so proud of the fact that she finally broke loose from Tom's clutches. Hakwa wants everyone to see Katie come into her own and rise to the top -- and tickets to Dead Accounts will probably wind up selling like hot cakes because eager fans want to catch a glimpse of the woman who put Tom Cruise in his place.

This is seriously Katie's big chance to reclaim her identity and prove to the world that she is a much bigger star than Tom, and that a lot of the allure surrounding him over the past five years was because of her and Suri and not because of Beeno and Tom.

@hakwa,

that article about the match officials proves one thing, u cant please everybody and why the NZ fans are the happiest lot in the world, as we can win more times then others despite many unfavourable calls.

in regards to that bulls/crusaders game i was more pissed of with the dumbass assitant referee who called daniell carte for obstruction, even though he was running a traghit line in support.

crusaders had all the momentum and the bulls looked like they were 3 breaths away from a heart attack, but that official showed that excluding the top officials, the rest of their crop is pretty bad and have no understanding of the rules.

Glad she go tcustody and know her next film will be a hit due to my input. Sorry hakwa because of your bad behaviour no free tickets for you mate!

Sasue you are right in saying you cant please everybody. Your bent nz refs only please bent nz oaks but no one else.  So one or two calls go against you but lets not forget the everest mountain of calls that favour you.

Katie Holmes comforted by friend Hakwa

Rumoured to be in constant contact with friend Hakwa since filing for divorce ... Katie Holmes. Picture: J.B Nicholas / Splash News

KATIE Holmes has been relying on her "solid friend" Hakwa for support lately.

The actress filed for divorce from Tom Cruise at the end of last month and they settled the terms of their split in under two weeks.

Katie and Hakwa were really good friends and supporting the Sharks and all NZ  S15 Teams before she got together with Tom (aka Beeno) and she has reportedly turned to him for help in the wake of the separation.

"Hakwa has been a huge source of support. He's one of Katie's few really solid friends," an insider told Heat magazine.

Katie and Hakwa stayed in touch and she personally told him when she started dating Tom and being forced to support the Stormers.

Although they haven't seen each other much over the years, she is said to feel indebted to him following his recent help in rediscovering her passion for supporting the Sharks and all NZ S15 Teams.

"Because of Tom she was really isolated. She only hung out with Stormers fans and people who Tom and the [Scientology] Church had pre-approved, so she hardly has any friends. Having Hakwa as a shoulder to cry on has been a huge help for Katie. It wouldn't surprise anyone if they became more than just friends," the insider added.

MATT SAYLES/AP Holmes returns to Broadway this fall in "Dead Accounts," and is now promoting her new fashion line Holmes & Yang.

In May, Holmes gave a interview to Elle magazine.

In the interview, she discussed the pros of turning 30 and supporting the Sharks, Chiefs and Crusaders, and how she's come to embrace what will undoubtedly be a grand "new phase" of her life in cheering for the Chiefs.

"I definitely feel more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier supporting the Chiefs," she told the magazine. "I think in my 20s, it's like you're trying too hard to figure everything out and whether to cheer for the Sharks, Chiefs or Crusaders.

"I'm starting to come into my own. It's like a new phase. Go the Chiefs!"

I was recently chating to Katie about her financial affairs ( I manage her many millions) when I thought I would ask her if she knew anything about NZ and the all blacks. As expected she said no and enquired if nz was a small African state - She is of course well aquainted with South Africa etc. So Hakwa the plain truth is she doesnt even know of the existence of those two rocks popping out of the ocean way down under called NZ!!

Beeno keeping it real for Hakwa's sake - whose sanity clearly is hanging on a thread.

Sasue I am having trouble with my interent connection at home but an making up for lost time now!

We lost a close game. The much praised sharks attack scored two tries to our one. One was a blunder by Joe and in another incident Jean went over and couln't ground. S owhat really was the differnec on attack really.  Yes i don't rate our attack but were the sharkies really so much better?

Now I have found repeatedly that lose by one point and your side is crap win by 1 point and you are wonderful. What nonsense - it was a close game and the sharks were on the ropes but managed to hang on.  But viewed as a whole topping the log and winning the SA Conference is a highly successful season in my book and on ewhich most franchises woul dtake in a blink of an eye.

Hawkwa  my dear buddy - surprise, surprise but  I will be yelling for the sharkies and not the chiefs!  If they beat you guys after even more travel how will you ever explain that one!

I take this opportinutiy to compliment you kiwis - you are a lot of fun even if  a bit bent! hahahhahahaha

Hakawa I have encourage katie to go out on a new date. Trying to point her in another direction than me. I know how interested you are in her affiars so I let you in on some inside info. Shestill thinks the abs are some lost african tribe  and it being of no importance I leave it there.

@beeno1,

i dint think a stormers loss would keep u away, but i am surprised u didnt blame the ref, so i guess u must have the flu or a head cold or something, :P

but yes beeno1, the sharks attack really was that much better, its not about how many tries u score, its about ur attacking frame of mind and the stormers looked confused when the ball spread out wide to them, it was like what am i suppose to do with this???
but the real icing on the attackless stormers cake was less then 20mins to go and the stormers were awarded a penalty and they kick for goal, o_O what kind of bullshit is that??? was JDV thinking well if we get this over, we now have less then 20 mins two trie and convert one of them to take a lead, even though they hadnt scored a try up to that point. or maybe they were thinking, yes, now we need 4 more penalties and then we can kick them all to take a 1pt lead???
if u dont know when to go for a try, then u never will and their whole season, this rubbish defence only mentality has come back to bite them on the ass, by SA best team.
rememebr the stormers cheetahs game??? crusaders had beaten the chiefs earlier on and the stormers needed a 4try bonus point win to reclaim top spot on the ladder, but they didnt want a bar of it, they just kept kicking the ball away and making the cheetahs play in their own half. even ur commentators were voicing their displeasure at the stormers tactics and another commentator even laughed saying why are u complaining, u were the utimate kick the ball away player, LMAO. when players who are for kicking the ball away are complaining, it speaks volumes about the stormers attack, or lack of it.
IMHO, stormers would have gotten smashed by the chiefs and crusaders as well, they were easily the weakest team in the semis by quite some distance, expect more of the same next year, always the bridesmaid, but never the bride.

Tom Cruise divorce: Church of Scientology head's niece warns Katie Holmes over Suri

The estranged niece of the head of the Church of Scientology has warned Katie Holmes that the organisation is "no place for an innocent child" like her daughter Suri.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in New York last month Photo: Rex

By Nick Allen, Los Angeles

Jenna Miscavige Hill, 28, whose uncle is church leader David Miscavige, became the latest former member to condemn the group, which is supported by Holmes' estranged husband Tom Cruise.

She left in 2005 after receiving what she called a "lousy education from unqualified teachers, forced labour, long hours, forced confessions and mental anguish".

Ms Miscavige Hill said Holmes would need fortitude to take on the church, which had "experts in twisting the truth and intimidation tactics".

She added: "My experience in growing up in Scientology is that it is both mentally and at times physically abusive. As a mother myself, I offer my support to Katie and wish for her all of the strength she will need to do what is best for her and her daughter."

Cruise, 50, and Holmes, 33, have now cut off all direct contact with each other following her decision to file for divorce, and custody of Suri, in New York on June 28. They married in 2006 and Mr Miscavige was Cruise's best man.

The couple are now communicating only through legal teams. Cruise, Hollywood's most bankable star, has hired high profile celebrity divorce lawyer Dennis Wasser, who also handled his split from Nicole Kidman in 2001.

Leaks from inside both camps say relations between Cruise and Holmes have now become "very bitter". Cruise is able to speak to his daughter once a day by telephone but she has not been told about the end of the marriage.

After being blindsided by the divorce filing, his team appeared to begin a fightback with sources close to the star suggesting he feels "betrayed," saying that his wife was using Suri as a "weapon" in the divorce, and that those around her are making it difficult for him to see his daughter.

One source told People magazine: "Say what you will about Tom, but there is no doubt he loves his daughter. Not seeing her would be very hard on him."

Holmes appeared to have been secretly planning the divorce for some time.

According to one report, Cruise's adopted daughter Bella, 19, was fired from a job at Holmes' clothing line two months ago.

Cruise, who was filming in Iceland when the divorce papers were filed, had planned to spend his 50th birthday on July 3 in New York with his wife and daughter. Instead, he flew to Los Angeles and spent it with his adopted children Bella, and Connor, 17.

A source said the atmosphere there was "sombre" and "very, very sad".

Cruise is due to move on to filming in the Rockies by the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Church of Scientology, which has always fiercely tried to guard its public image, faced a flurry of further potentially damaging claims, including unconfirmed reports that members of Mr Miscavige's own family had left its secretive International Base in California in recent months.

There was also renewed interest in the whereabouts of his wife Shelly with an anti-Scientology group claiming she was missing.

But the church issued a statement saying she was "not missing" and the claim was "utterly ridiculous and unfounded".

If she was raised a Scientologist, then Suri would face being "audited" with an "e-meter," which measures responses to questions such as "Have you ever lied to a teacher?" and "Have you ever gotten yourself dirty on purpose?"

She could also face joining the subgroup Sea Org, in which the most dedicated Scientologists sign a billion-year pledge of allegiance and wear maritime-style uniforms.

Marty Rathbun, who was Cruise's auditor before leaving the Church of Scientology in 2004, said: "Katie could blow Scientology wide open. She could press this sole custody issue and litigate it and that would be the biggest nightmare in the Church of Scientology's history. It would be a circus they couldn't survive."

The church has dismissed critical former members as "excommunicated self-promoters" who "cannot be believed".

@ben10,

but this thread is perfect for ur rugby discussions, cos no one in their right mind can take ur stormer arguments seriously, i mean stormers top the conference ladder and that is an achievement??? that is nothing more then a sign of how flawed this format is, cos the stormers never faced the chiefs. and the chiefs as u know had no problems dispatching the sharks in durban, even keeping them tryless, unlike the stormers who got roody pooed out of durban, like they did out of newlands last wekk, LMAO, :)

i will say u get an A+ for effort with all these excuses u come up with, but we both know deep down inside, u blame bryce lawernce, ur just trying to connect the dots somehow, hahahahahaha, :P
anyway looking forward to hearing ur excuses come the IRC when the All Blacks win it, they will no doubt be entertaining and lacking in fact as always.

beeno1 gets sasukes vote for the best mordern day hans christian anderson, :P

SaSUE we had a sluggish first half against the sharks after a two week break and paid fo rit. It happens so get over it saSUE.

Instead of trashing the Mighty Stormers you should be focusing on the Sharkies. Lose this one with all your travel advantages working for you and you will be the laughing stock of Super rugby - FOREVER! Hahahhahahahaha. You do remeber your last dbacle ina fina lat Loftus where you got smashed. Lose tgsi SaSUE and where will you hide! How will I be able to console my good friend Sitting Bull! Brycy will collapse in a heap and Hakwa will be driven deeper into his escapist fantasy with Katie.

No doubt you are hoping Walshie has not forgotten his roots! SaSUE  BL has been fired now as a test ref. BL is of course your best ref according to NZ that is! Hahahahahahhahaha boy did you mongs lose all cred with that one!  Paddy also got the boot from the IRB. Away with the nz refs I say. However unfortunately the mongs have got a nz ref in the Super Comp final. Will they attempt another BL or do they realise their reputation is in tatters and they cannot afford another BL. Time will tell.

GO SHARKIES KICK SOME OVERBLOWN CHIEFIES BUTT.

I am very happy with the great season we had. Topping the log and winning the Sa Conference were fineachievements given our problems this year.

As for the non warrior chiefies  we would doubtless hav ecreamed if we were at full  strength and you likewise.
