Keohane - has he got it rright for a change?
Quite a lot of SAns are unhappy with their rugby team and yet are unable to accept the termination of rugby as a fitting outcome.
Then many business decisions would be material for x files and other conspiracy comedies.
What about the other minister who was gifted a farm and who left all her animals on her farm for weeks without food or water, and they all suffered a horrendous death, as reported on Carte Blanche
Excellent men are known for their cruelty to animals. Animal life has taken quite a hit under excellent men's rule as they are nothing but something to destroy.
This minister is nothing to single out but for his quality as an excellent person, who excells in the art of destruction.
Excellent men should welcome him as a brother. Of course, if excellent men were not racist...
Dams may be too big indeed.
Sooner or later, it will growingly appear that little to no technology was transferred to SA.
What happened was the duplication of some technology suitable for a certain environment. People knew how to do in certain situations, and applied the same solution in other situations, regardless of the inadequacy of the solution.
In the doing, they helped to improve their proficiency in the solution they duplicated.
And decreased the opportunity a suitable solution can be brought to SA.
SA, as any place in the world, need technological answers to its problems. Not technological answers to others' problems.
So here is the solution in SA:
Improper solutions were applied. They helped the destruction of the environment, as wished by excellent men.
Now SA is stuck with improper solutions, resources were squandered on those solutions, the knowledge of proper solutions is missing and even if the knowledge was there, the resources to materialize the solution are not there.
Things are going to be very hard in SA.
To blame all the white people today for what happened with apartheid, when many of those same white people were totally against apartheid, is like blaming all the current German people today for what Hitler did to the Jews, when thousands of those same German people hid thousands of those same Jews away, and helping them escape death, whilst facing a certain death sentence themselves if caught.
The situation does not compare.
German people have had to shoulder the burden of the past. They are still commonly associated to nazis, have had to compensate victims of nazism and their descendants. People involved in nazi activity were prosecuted and did not get away with some kind of parody of justice like that reconciliation stuff.
German people would have it way better if they had been treated the same way as it happened in SA.
On another note, the apartheid regime took as a ground for legitimacy a way larger base than their actual base. They claimed to act on the behalf of white people as a whole, on a mission to promote and protect white people.
This kind of association was illegitimate but can not be dismissed as easily.
One point is that the apartheid regime was supported by other nations, some of which elected their government to be their representatives.
This sort of forced association appear less forced when they are backed by representatives.
Third, the apartheid regime was ended when it met its point of unsustainability. In other words, it died its natural death.
Usually, people who demand to be dissociated also demand that muslims demonstrate after an attack to show their opposition. Yet when looked at, the representation and deputation in the muslim case are less, much less. Muslims act by their interpretation of their god's words, and not for other men. Second, they also have no representative assembly to gain legitimacy.
The issue is those mistakes (if the word is suitable) are emphasized as essential when they are by all measures secondary.
It is the same as for corruption. Calling out corruption as the cause for failure dismisses the fact that other places are also corrupted and succeed despite their corruption.
People all around the world hold irrational beliefs. This at all levels. Politicians everywhere have irrational beliefs.
People who suffer diseases also commonly nurture irrational beliefs.
Yet in the case of black people (and some others) those are fronted as a cause for failure.
It makes no sense as other areas succeed while bathing in corruption and irrational beliefs.
Now another question is to see how things can be done. Ill people treatment demand drugs. They might be knowledgeable about their disease: without drugs, they cant be treated. Irrational beliefs or not.
You could educate a population in making drugs: without the resources to manufacture drugs, they could host no irrational beliefs and not be corrupted, no drugs would be made.
The question of the resources is essential: where are the resources to support a SA middle class, a population of proficient people, going to come from?
Have you heard of secondary and tertiary sectors ?
Sectors of the economy | Economics Helpwww.economicshelp.org/blog/12436/concepts/sectors-economy/
"Primary sector – extraction of raw materials – mining, fishing and agriculture.
Secondary / manufacturing sector – concerned with producing finished goods, e.g. factories making toys, cars, food, and clothes.
Service / 'tertiary' sector – concerned with offering intangible goods and services to consumers.
Really, the German's are still associated with the Nazis. Holy damn Batman! I tell you the world is full of such surprising facts.
Umm, I think the death camps of WW2 were slightly worse than apartheid. Wasnt the death toll around 4 000 000 for WW2? Really, and there was no amnesty for the Nazis? Gee whiz genius.
How many whites have been murdered by blacks since apartheid ended? And how many more times is that number bigger than the amount of black people murdered by whites during apartheid?
And again I ask you, what are you doing here? You know dick about rugby, don't like rugby and yet you want us all to pay attention to you.
See my posts on Beeno's Trump*etc . Trump proposed ambassador has slammed into Juncker and company. Great read.
Africa's answer...Doom in the face bwhahhaha
