I think we can reconstruct pretty much our whole 20011 QF team for the world cup 2015 .....sans Lambie. Surely we can find somebody more experienced for 15. I wonder how Monty is doing these days.

I obviously regard Mozart's insistence on the has been of the 2011 campaign back in the squad for the 2015 WC as hilarious.   As if the 2011 fiasco was not enough = he thinks that they would do better in 2015.   That will ensure that we repeat the 2003 fiasco and an early exit from the WC,
I went to France for the 2007 WC and was very happy to see how well we did.   I intended to go to New Zealand for the 2011 WC - until I saw the team announcement and then opted out.   No need to waste money on going to watch a team of losers.  
I will be worse in 2015 if we keep selecting the elderly and the under-achievers  supported by Mozart and others  - the outcome will be an inevitable disaster.

I was in Montpellier and saw the game you referred to.   That was not the most shocking moment in WC 2007 by a long way, since by then the game was won by the Springboks.  The most shocking moment by some distance was the missed tackle of Steyn on Tate that nearly cost us the Cup.    

Fortunately Matfield was there to stop Tait, with a brilliant goal line tackle, part of  a Man of the Match performance .....and so we come full circle and also to game, set and match.

 The try saving tackle was made by Rossouw - so game set and match.

 Wrong you old coot, Rossouw made the tackle on Cueto up the sideline subsequently. Matfield made the tackle a metre out on Tait  to save a certain try. Give up man it's game, set, match and tournament.

Tait was not tackled b y Matfield - so talking BS again.   Matfield did not figure in that defense at all.   Wiggle, wiggle like a snake and getting nowhere near the truth.  But that is Mozart all over.

 Dr Moz the real question was what was wee victor doing out on the wing. It was a case where his backline play - usually detrimental  to the Boks -payed off. But to be fair as Bakkies said - victor doesnt always play in the backline (5% forward?) - these immortal words are the coup de grace re wee matfield and any prete nse he is a lock.Try and see the deeper problem
