Its quite amazing how we have guys in the pack like Deon, Kolisi, Carr etc. We have guys in the backline who can run. Yet They cannot score tires.Their coaching must surely be the worst in the Super by a big margin. Have you ever seen sucha negative approach. Ball kicked away again an again.
Bring in Small and Venter and things will chance but fire the big brass suits who clearl y went for a quota coach and boy have we paid a price - especially when Rassie and Mallet walked out.

Well the game ended in a whimper but the stormers had two good tries. May have been feeling the effects of the travel and away games.

Frankly even if we had won this is NOT the way to play rugby. In the end too many penalties against St ormers second team.
The big interest now is can Smal pull this team around and what will his role be. It's time for a clean out. We are simply on the wrong tack.

Stormers were picked by some to do well this year but something is wrong. Injuries don't help but the team seems to lack intent.

Why kick it away. Excellent question Cloudy- the mind boggles at their mental approach.
A full strength side can still win playing thsi brand of rugby but wiull never crack it. No side will prosper playing like this. How they can' t see it amazes me.

Yup it was good - see you later kiwis but may be playing tennis when chiefies play bulle .
When one thinks of it a win now would have been a disaster. Confirms wrong thinking.

"I am glad you kbbs are appreciating the fine rugby being played by the mighty Stormers. As the commentators are saying that try was all too easy. HahahahahahahahaOu rooitwit must be reaching for another dop!"
Pfffffffffffffffffhahahahahahaha!
Baboon-ou, it's quite hard to drink anything when you're doubled up with laughter!
This thread is a Blowhard classic . . . it starts off with the usual chest-beating and boasting from the Blowhards and this gets even louder when the Hapless Stompies miraculously score a bog ordinary try . . . but then the Blowhards start going a bit quiet as Baboon-ou's hero Deon Fourie begins to self destruct and then, once the Reds have made the Hapless Stompies their little bitches and put them in their place, the Blowhards start whimpering about the ref, the coach and the injuries.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha! I bet Baboon-ou's reaching for another dop . . . he's drinking to forget!

Wins can mask problems. Look no further than the Stormers Currie Cup victory. It therefore allows substandard coaches breathing space and hurts you more in the long term.

Yes, and patchy wins can cause hesitancy in dealing with management issues. It's much easier if they are exposed earlier. Coetzee has had long enough, far too much of an easy ride living off Nienaber's work. The sooner he is removed the better, and the odd win here or there to boost hope will delay it.

I rate Pollock as the best ref out there, but IMO, he were too lenient with the Reds, but that's not why the Stormers lost. Deon totally selfdestructed and I can't understand why the hell Coetzee did not put the reserve hooker on the field way sooner. Anyway , congrats to the Reds. Good one to win coming back from tour.

Exactly Sun. If we had won it could possibly have lessened the case for a change. Comprehende JW?Rooiotwit before you make a complete ass of yourself yet again ask yourslef where Deon has been playing his rugby. You probably have not noticed so allow me to inform you he has been at 6 not 2!!
Also the try was very good one ya halwit. Give credit when its due.
One can always rely on ou rooitwit for some comic relief!
Rooitwit please get over the Bulle hammering the sharkies!

lolz, the excuses here are pathetic, the only thing worse is mozter saying le rouxs 50% defence success rate is better then daggs 65%,LMFAO,
stormers and cheetahs have now left NZ and OZ winning zero matches, hopefully the bulls can get restore some touring pride as they embark on their tour.

Sasuke, you shouldn't tax Moffie's feeble little brain with concepts like percentages . . . the lying old codger struggles enough with basic primary school arithmetic.
Baboon-ou, you can squeal all you like and put as many stupid little emoticons up to try and disguise your embarrassment, it doesn't change the fact that your "mighty" Stompies were man-shamed yet again and are currently joint bottom of the table.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha!
