why Matfield should not be anywhere near the Springbok team.   The only line-out Matfield called to him the Rebels took.  He did squat for the rest and was one of the main reasons why the Bulls lost the game.  No team can afford passengers and he was a passenger today - which he is in any event 90% of the time.

Elsewhere Morne Steyn has played the full 80 minutes (again) to help Stade Francais to beat European champions, Toulon, in the first of the two semi-finals of the Top14.
Seems like he is on top of his game again.

Mike I didnt watch the game but if wee matfiled 106 kg (at most) lost the only ball thrown to him it must surely have resulted in the worst display of a so called lock ever seen! HahahahahahahahahaLudeke is a tool and if he looses his job has only himself to blame. matfiled and spiesies will have been his down fall. Both are nowhere near Super 15 standard and wee marfiled would struggle at club level.
That anybody would be so daft as to thing wee matfiled should be a Bok lock boggles the mind. When will these dopes wise up.

Well, Victor has been schooling the new generation for two seasons now. If he is inadequate, what is du Toit-Pom? The only lock to stand toe-to-toe with Victor in all the years he played the game was Dan Vickerman.

Utter nonsense Card matfiled has only embarrassed himself and the Boks and the Bulle.Time for the show pony to go. He is an unmitigated disaster for the Boks and Bulle. Surely the twit realises this. He needs to think of the teams he is ruining by his pathetic play. its not about pap victor!!
The weakest "lock" ever to play the game professionally. Nobody has named a weaker lock dispite my many calls for them to do so.
Game set and match
Away with the conman show pony!

A weaker lock duo was found in 2011. The record loss to NZ, both picks by Dave.

We are wasting valuable time playing Victor. He is still solid enough to stand his ground, but it's long past time to move on. We can't keep on clinging to the past.

matfiled is the pits as a lock. Nobody has been as pap.Always remember the immortal words of the long suffering Bakkies. victor doesnt always play in the backline! Hahahhahahahaha a bigger indictment would be hard to find.
His lineout play is way over rated. As has been said a good international lock takes his ball. Victor does no more than any proficient lineout lock. From then on he is a liability severely weakening your tight five. it was a great disappointment when the oak returned.
Who can seriously want wee victor at lock when we pla y say England!!! Next you are fielding an unbalanced loose trio to make up for playing one tight forward short. His being in the team messes up everything.
Away with the show pony!

Against England on the EOYT Victor was our standout player in the pack. Duane and Victor were massive. But Victor's work-rate across the board exceeded all those around him that day. I have no concerns over Victor, the problem is finding a consistent partner for him. Minus Flip we have lost a key weapon. Eben can go missing for large periods, and du Toi-Pom lives up to the name! You are off your rocker Beeno.

Look the Village Idiot disputed my comments above on the assumed basis that i was talking nonsense about Matfield.   I did not - I just pointed out facts.  As the tournament progressed Matfield became weaker and weaker in each match played.  Must b e the lowest point reached when he did not take a single line out in the game and made a minimal number of tackles as well - that while he was mostly moonlighting in the backline where tackles should have been numerous.
The so-called story but "schooling" is utter BS used by the imbecilic Mozart to hide the fact that Du Toit completely outplayed Matfield in the relevant game.  It was rather the other way around.
The sad fact is that Matfield and Spies are going to be the reason for Ludeke likely to lose his job - the same fate is on the cards for Meyer if he is stupid enough to select Matfield for the Springboks.  Even he would not pick Spies I believe - the Springboks do not need a passenger in the Tight 5 - they need a participant who performs.

We have in fact got 2 MOLES - the one uses "Clevemike" - the other one "Clevermike.".   The second one use my username - but put a fullstop behind my username.  Both are skunks of low repute.
Mozart, Letsal  and the other thoughtless Matfield groupies used to shout and scream about his line-out takes and his tackle count - irrespective of how weak the tackles in fact were.  Both has become less and less.   Today Matfield buggered up so badly he was replaced roundabout minute 55 - after taking no line outs and attempting six tackles - one of which he missed.  This disaster was against one of the weaker teams in Super 15 - what will happen in tests?

 11 April 2015........

That was the last time that Johan Goosen found himself on the Racing Metro team sheet........ as a replacement.

He has been totally absent since then.

He seems to have lost his regular place as the bench flyhalf to Dambielle for the last five rounds of the Top14.

Gosh Liarmike why do you  think you can make these false statements? Here are Matfi elds stats, 3 lineouts taken:

Matfield0/000/4/3100000 5/13/000/0

Matfield set up the first Bools try, made an excellent covering tackle and showed superb hands up the right hand touchline.

The Bools were leading 20 to 14 when he was subbed off....after which they lost all direction.
