Add in that Lions hooker Ackers. Your loose forwards are wrong. Forget about Carr, Kolis and guys like Arno. They have not performed. I cant say re Stander but have heard little about him.
I think Rhodes is the deal. Add in Whitely also Bothma of the Sharks has played very well.I am happy about Kriel and Whitely because of their very high work rate and skills. Kolisi and Carr are much too pap.

The issue is that a squad of circa 32 players at most will be picked for the RC and there need to be some serious consideration given to each position. The injury issue is also not as given by you. By the time the RC squad is to be nominated all of Du Toit, Reinach and Lambie will be back from injury. Brussow will not be picked since he ruled himself out from local rugby.
Backline Players
Full Backs
Willie le Roux - I do not think Meyer will select another specialist full back
Wings
Habana, Combrinck, Hendricks, Mapoe
Centers
De Allende, Serfontein, Vorster
Flyhalfs
Pollard, Lambie
Scrummies
Reinach, De Klerk
Back-up players : Hougaard, Kriel'
Forwards
Loosies
Vermeulen, Whiteley, Louw, Kriel, Coetzee, Kolisi, Burger
Locks
Etzebeth, Du Plessis, Willemse, Du Toit
Props
Malherbe, Koch, Du PlessisBeast, Kitshoff, Nyakane
Hookers
Bismarck du Plessis, Strauss, Acker van der Merwe

Better discuss repetitive nonsense than dabble in idiocy with players like Matfield, Francois Steyn, Willem Alberts and co - which seems to be your favourites, like you do.

Okay, here's the difference. I think de Jongh is a good contributor and a smart player. But while he is a great S15 player, I accept test level is a challenge...he could be functional but not dominating.
You on the other hand think a list of slow, ordinary centres are certain class acts at test level.
You are extremely naive.

So tell me how did your young guns do against England yesterday? How did WPs young guns do against the Sharks. How old we're the last 3 WC winning teams?
Your vision of youngsters running gloriously through acres of empty space is funny...the musings of a silly fellow.

I do not think that De Jongh would be functional on test level. He was anything but in the last two tests he played in. Whether he is in fact good enough on Super 15 level is highly debatable. You wrote about De Jongh being a clever player and I certainly agree about some aspects of "clever play" on his part. He makes absolutely sure he is out of sight when facing stronger opponents, so as not to face them in tackle situations - very clever of him. It happens constantly in matches and was evident again when he faced Vorster in the Lions game.
As to the other centers being slow is actually a flight of imagination by you. You have in turn accused Serfontein, De Allende and Vorster being slow, yet not a word about the two slowest centers this year - Fransie and Pietersen. Any of the first three players mentioned will in a 50 meter race beat the latter two by 10 meters.

Dense, your master Moffie gave permission for me to put up his ugly and decrepit old mug last week. Are you prepared to give Dave permission to put up yours? The stories of your ugliness are legendary and I just want to see for myself if you live up to the hype.

Let Dense answer for himself. I know he's a trembling little coward at the best of times but at least give him the chance to accept the challenge before you run to his aid.
Say Moffie, is that old geezer you find so attractive in front of a sign that says "Transylvania"?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha! That explains a lot!
It's just a jump to the left . . .
LMAO!

Yes, Moffie looks like a stick insect . . . a very old and foppish looking stick insect, but a weedy little stick insect nonetheless.
My mental image of Dense is based very much on the way he acts on this board . . .
. . . so I'd be quite keen to see if he matches my mental image.

It takes a worried man to sing a worried song. Poor old Dave is running 5 kms a day to keep the tidal wave of fat genes at bay....and RooiAAS is so chicken he won't post his drink ravaged image on here.
Tortured souls.

You're ducking and diving and evading the question again, Dense. Are you prepared to follow your Master's example and give Dave permission to put up your photo?
I'm assuming Dave still has the photo . . . I don't even know . . . but all I'm trying to establish at this point is if you're giving permission for your mugshot to be posted on here.
Well?

@saffex,
a few things regarding ur squad,,,
- those players u didnt include due to injury, are they not going to make it to the RWC at all, or is this just ur squad for right now???
- vermulen, is he relly going to make the RWC??? stormers doctors say yes, but the dont know their buttholes from their elbows.
easily one of the Boks top 3 most important players.
- u need to add a thrid hooker in ur squad, bizzy and strauss may be the two best hookers in the world, but no way can they play the whole tournament, especially with bizzys brain farts.
- how has hougaards time on the wing effected both his chances and ability to play halfback for the Boks???
ability wise might not be such a problem, but form wise??? i wouldnt be surprised to see meyer play hougaard on the wing for the Boks, given ludek has wasted one of SAs top halfbacks on the wing all season.
- my best Bok team based on ur squad would be,,,
uzumaki clan Bok XV
1 s kitshoff, 2 a strauss, 3 v koch
4 j du plesiss, 5 lady elizabeth
6 m cotezze, 7 n carr, 8 d vermeulen
9 f hougaard, 10 h pollard
12 j serfontein, 13 d de allende
11 b habana, 15 j kriel, 14 w le roux
16 bizzy, 17 beast, 18 f malherbe, 19 p wilemese, 20 j kreil, 21 f de klerk, 22 e janties, 23 jp pieterson
