too much from the Sharks when I predicted a comfortable win and it looked that way for a period of time but when the tide turned they just seem to fall apart. Tim Whitehead must be braindead as he cost the team a try and Mvovo hasn't the faintest idea about defence and how to tackle.
I was picking the Sharks and the Bulls but not so sure now the Warratahs and Brumbies have won . This could be the Aussies weekend to shine instead.
The Waratahs have a very long history of outmuscling the Sharks. I predicted a Sharks win purely on the basis of the chaos in the Tah's camp (some calling for a complete clean-out ala Brumbies!). Mvovo is very suspect on defence as you pointed out. He would be a great camera man though, think of the great shots he'd get of his opposite on the way to the try line! lol. Seriously though, I wonder why Vulindlu is being wasted? He was always a very switched on player; I recall his try last year or so when he spotted a gap nobody else saw and belted through a lineout. Mvovo just hugs the touchline waiting to be put away. Whitehead is just an average player.
The current "Tah side is average.... they won't make the final six.
It's a shame. I recall their fantastic game against the Bulls in 2009. It was like watching two heavyweights in their prime slug it out. They were a fantastic side until they sacked that coach (can't remember his name)
Don't start me on their coaches, it's a frigging turnstile. They once had Ewen McKenzie as coach, he also didn't last too long, Bob Dwyer is another. Some reckon there's more politics in their boardroom than in Washington.
That's probably why I cannot remember who he was! LMAO. I call it the Chelsea affect. Stodgy old farts who know nothing about the game sticking their noses in and causing problems.
I remeber a coach they had named "Speed" Kennedy. Senior players like Tiaan Strauss spoke out to say he couldn't coach....they then got rid of the senior players. Further down the track they finally got rid of him. I don't think he completed a full season.
