Pita Ahki signs for Canes

 It is rumored that Dominique Bird will also move to the Canes.

 Actually JW, Bird is moving to the Mighty Chiefs!!!

 Rumour is Ngani Laumape from the Warriors, well be playing for the Canes next year. I still think Canes can win the title next year, yes I am a true fan lol. But realistically. 7th last year, 2nd this year. 1st next year haha?

 Just something else - what is happening to Money Bill Williams - is he staying with the Chiefs?  
I think Ma'a Nonu was better this year than he was last year - although he was not really convincing when he had De Allende as opponent.  However, as was stated he and Conrad Smith will be a big loss to the Hurricanes - even though age is catching up with Conrad.  
I do not think that Freuan is all that good at center.   A very strong ball carrier - but he has his deficiencies as well.   Ahki would be a better signing than Fruean would be.  
The Canes would do better if they hunt for stronger players in the Tight 5.   They have very good talent in the backline - but backlines can only flourish if they get good balls from their forwards.   They have outstanding loosies - but their Tight 5 remains a problem.
Bird going to the Canes is interesting as well.   He was not fully utilized at the Crusaders - since he had to play second fiddle to Whitelock and Romano and was also sidelined with injury problems.   May do better at the Canes - they do need a lock.  

   

 I agree Mike actually. Canes loose trio is outstanding. But the tight five while been very good all season, did go missing in the final. Nonu was best centre all year IMO. Broadhurst well be a lock in, Abott prob. But need a lock so Bird would be handy. 

 Bird is going to the Mighty Chiefs, I was wrong on my previous post. D. Mckenzie is going the the Crusaders. I hope he gets playing time.
