By weight standards, Mccaw is a 6 and a half. Too small to play blindside and too big to play openside  Also at least 5.1 kg too small for number 8.

I spose if you can't convince someone of your quality after 14 years of first class rugby, 148 test caps, 135 test points, 2 World Cups, 3 world player of year awards, IRB international new comer of the year award, shit loads of tri nations and rugby championship titles, super rugby titles out the wazoo, not to mention being named New Zealand sportsman of the year off two separate occasions it says more about the critic than it does about the player.
