Really bad news. Their 3 month old baby survived but to lose both parents is a tragedy.


Collins was a hard-nosed player that's for sure, may he and his wife RIP.

Holy shart that is terrible!!! No point offering condolences the family will never see, but it this is very sad!!!

Heard it on the news this morning on my way to work. What a terrible tragedy. RIP Jerry Collins.

 Hi Cloudy, nice to see you post on the forum even under such dire circumstances.  I missed most of Jerry's career as an AB as I lived in the US & in those days there was no internet streaming - it was not on TV of course.
I will watch some of the old games & greatest hits on Youtube. He left a lasting legacy.
It is extra bad news when both parents of a child die. I am sure he has a strong family so hopefully things will be taken care of.
