Samoa try? Yes, 20-13  kick is no good. They will have to do better with their goal kicking.

Too true Brycy. Just hope Samoa can keep the points coming so they can withstand the last 20 mins.

Crowd are really getting into it. The old rolling maul trick. They score. Rolling maul is almost impossible to stop - hardly a fair contest for the ball. Legalised cheating?
23 all.

Half time. Samoa had a penalty but went for the try - didn't come off but they are making it clear they are out to win this game... or go out in a blaze of glory.

Into the last quarter, Samoa need to calm down they still can win this. Laidlaw misses the penalty kick. Scots ahead by 3.

Sorry I couldnt guide you  through the game JW and brycy. It must have been close. Scots probably saving their best side for quarter finals? As I warne d the samoans must try and learn the rules and stick to them. They are forever doing dumb things.
Hard luck to the brave blossums!

Beeno, seems you recall the advice I gave you & the boks about breaking rules & the consequential cards.  In the case of the Samoans those penalties were not deserved of course They played with passion & determination & although they leave the tournament they can be proud of their play in this game.

Well JW lets hope the hapless samoaners qualify for the next world cup. Frankly their absence would make for a cleaner RWC. To be fair on the samaoners they were not as dirty as the previous RWC and all the preceding ones. Have any of the much vaunted ( by jW and ou brycy) but flopping PI nations qualified by coming third?

Here's a comment from Supersport and although I have not seen the game i drew the correct conclusions. I amze myself at times JW:

Still, the Scots were way too tactically astute and shifted their focus in the second half to milk the penalties, something the Samoans gave away way too easily, and then watched as Laidlaw racked up the points and put on the scoreboard pressure.

How else would a side lose by three if they outscored the opposition four tries to three, and in that respect probably fluffed a half dozen chances.

Samoa’s discipline is somehow always a factor when they play and if they can’t get that right, they will unfortunately never make the playoff rounds.

There are not many folk who dont even have to watcha game  to get it right!!

Ou JW watches the game and still doesnt understand what happened!

Beeno, one does hope you would comes to his own conclusions without relying on the validation of others of dubious credibility (Supersport) .
Clearly you missed the guidance of Brycy & myself & should have watching this game & learning from us live.
