So long as SA rugby tolerates the squeaks from its vestigal appendix of boer reconstructionists, the day will never come for ZA to once again ride high in the rugby world. The same bloody arguments from the bloody-minded.

Rugby is a team game and ZA is the team. The days of Chester Williams carrying the bags out of the hotel into the bus are over, baby. Now you have to compete at grass roots between yourselves, black, white and coloured. We do.

That is why we are World Champions.

Interesting thoughts. In terms of Afrikaners alone, the Boks can play them exclusively and still be very successful. The problem has always been the ANC; everything they do wrong filters down into all areas of live in SA. The day they nurture the resources available to them South Africa will be a world power in every sense. Rugby reflects these things. My view is that so long as South Africa clings onto the relic that is 'the struggle' it will never be successful. Creating a victim mentality and wrongfully pointing out all whites as an enemy is the big problem. In rugby, the issues of the past have been excuses for many short-cut plans to nowhere and they never learn! Politics has dragged South African rugby off of it's pedastle.

Okay, you speak as if truth matters to you. Yes, once there was only ZA, NZ, and the Lions. ZA's record were inflated in a world before neutral referees.

But nobody wanted to play against teams of just white people. Neither in cricket or in rugby.

SA lost power, mana and were sent from the room. You cannot force people to like you.

But let me tell you, we loved the Boks. They were almost as good as us.

When the kids can play against each other then the cultures contribute the range of skills needed to make a perfect team. Respect is needed for teamwork. Trust is needed for teamwork.
