 De Jongh also knocked on 4 balls - with one try begging to be scored and when put in space covered 89 meters beating only one defender - but bound to bugger up in the end.     If he made the line breaks by actually beating more than one defender - something worth mentioning.  Otherwise nothing to write home about.  Speed is OK - but more is required.

He made  line breaks by running perfect lines....something you as a hooker wouldn't understand, but the commentators clearly did.

Man of the match: Not many Cheetahs, with the loose trio of Henco Venter, Johannes Prinsloo and Tienie Burger having made a mountain of tackles - making close in 50 between them. Damian de Allende had a storming first half, breaking tackles at will, but seemed to lose his momentum after the break. Juan de Jongh also had a big game , while props Vincent Koch and Steven Kitshoff were monsters in the scrums and doing the hard yards around the park. Our award goes to Stormers flank Nizaam Carr, who looked pure Springbok - taking his tackle count well into double figures, contributing in the line-outs and making plenty of metres with his 11 carries.

You love to quote reports from rugby writers irrespective of the mug they write at times.  De Allende score his try at minute 48 - that is in the second half.  He was subbed at minute 61 because the Stormers would not expose to potential injury their best backline player in a game already won.    He played only 21 minutes in the second half and in that half he was the same as the first half. 
A bad misrepresentation by a rugby writer again.

The ones that have been critical towards the Stormers backs are in total denial, they don't want to accept the truth. Week after week we hear the same rubbish. 

Last week Mike stated Senatla shouldn't be playing at Super Rugby level which turned out to be a real joke after Senatla scored 2 fantastic tries last week. Leyds also scored 2 brilliant tries after Mike said he too shouldn't be playing at Super Rugby level, a few days after that post he was wrong on that occasion as well.

 What any backline is able to do against Cheetahs means nothing. They are a joke of a team, without coach, with some of their best players poached before this season and the rest of their bests injured.
The Stormers backline was one of the worst of the whole competition and remains one of the worst no matter how many tries they got against the Cheetahs.
The only decent player is de Allende and still to see what Senatla is able to.
The backline of the rest of the 8 bests teams in the standings are far better than the Stormers'. They will have many problems in the finals

 So you say they will be in the finals despite having the worst bacline in the top 8? I think their backline works well enough for their game plan. I agree that there's lots of room for improvement, but seeing that they will most probably play most of the knock out games at Newlands...and if the log order stays as is, even the final mi ght end up in Cape Town. Given the weather in CT this time of the year, their strong pack will give them a huge boost. Interesting times ahead for sure.

 more or less, what I said is that the Stormers has not only the worst backline of the top 8 but also one of the worst of the whole competition.
Groom is average at best, Catrakillis is, with S. Eberson, the worst flyhalf, de Jongh is one of the worsts defenders, Lleyds is simply not up to SR level and form with Kolbe and Senatla an excesively light outside trio. Senatla has yet to prove that he can star as he did at sevens.
If de Allende gets injured the stormers backline is near to zero.

If the Stormers win the tournament playing all their matches at home it will be a total shame for the competition. Untill the moment they don't deserve to have the home advantage and if they finish with less points than Hurricanes, Chiefs and Highlanders, they will get it just for being south african. It's understandable that at least one team of each conference goes to the finals but the order for the home advantage should be decided based only on the points each team gets.

They are currently second in the competition....so what do you want, leave out the second best team because you don't happen to like their backline.

2. Highlanders.  48
3. Chiefs.         44
4. Stormers      43

And what I say is that the order for the home advantage should be based on it.
Even this would be still unfair taking into account that being in the SA conference it's a lot more easier than being in the NZ conference.

SA teams  168 p.
Oz teams  152 p.

The New Zealand conference is the hardest, particularly in 2015. 
And the New Zealand teams that are tournament leaders do have the best backlines on attack.
However-  Stormers backline has consistently been the best on defense for the last 5 years or so. Each year the Stormers concede the least tries- and certainly the least backline tries conceded. 

The Stormers have the 1. best pack in the tournament. 2. Best defence in the tournament.3. A backline that is slowly getting better on attack- with Senatala now added to the mix
4. The Stormers have also been one of the better travellling teams in recent years- frequently winning their overseas away games- rarely losing by much.
Only a fool would make a high stake bet against the Stormers winning.

Well let's forget the bonus points and just base it on win/ loss. Bonus points favors NZ style of play. On that basis the Stormers and Highlanders are joint second. And who says the SA teams have an easier go of it....the traveling issues are tougher for South African teams.
But my main complaint is those useless NZ front rows. Our guys aren't even getting Real WC preparation playing against those patsies.

I can scarecly believe ou ab ass talking some sense at last. The other decent back we have is van Wyk.Had Howard been played i am confident he would be doing well by now. 
To talk up the Stormerss baks because of their performance against the Cheetahs is hilarious! Hahhahahahahahahaha
