You re really weird in what you think.  There is no disdain for older players in SA - there is a disdain for players who do not perform irrespective of their age,  Problem is - you do not recognize or wish to do so when players perform well enough and when not.  You see and often enough build up imaginary deficiencies in some players - especially younger ones - and ignore the deficiencies in some of your older favoured players.
With you everything is about age and reputation of players and nothing about actual performance.   That is the insistence that the missed tackle of Kriel was all that counted in that match - the continuous ball possession losses by Burger and the stream of penalties by Bismarck was never even mentioned by you and had no impact if your views are accepted.
The sickness you mentioned is imaginary - the real issue is a disdain for deficient performance by players.

Look dumbo of course there were lots of things wrong in the match, but Kriel's missed tackle gave them the match. He makes the tackle  we defend our line  and exit with a win despite all the mistakes.
And Your performance theory is BS, as Matfield showed with his MOM performance against the Bargies.

In the end we lost to NZ....Lomp gave the Bargies a try, but we recovered. He gave NZ a try and we couldn't overcome the 7 points. Lomp also gave Australia try. You want to look for a performance deficit, there it is. Even Kriel only gave away two tries in our losses.
