The above is obviously hoping De Jager is fit to play - the mere idea to play Matfield is too ghastly to contemplate.   Alberts is also not suitable for a fast- moving game.   Wish we had Kriel available for the loosie position.  What a pity.    

 I would select Paige ahead of Pienaar on the bench.Paige has got pace, eye for the gap and above all has got balls!
Pienaar lacks all the above.

 guys i would go one futher and just pick pienaar at 15 he is no 9 that is for sure....
great team mike but ja a kriel or a brussouw would add so much to that breakdown battle but meyer has really tied his own hands behind his back on this one.....expect louw to be outgunned at the breakdowns adding nothing like he has been doing for 5 odd years now. how this clown gets picked i have no idea. i cannot think of one moment in a game he has done anything of value.
i might even pick alberts at 5 for the all blacks seeing that kiwi's wont play a stop start game and having another lose forward might be to our advantage. we just dont have the right personal to take on the all black rucks at all.

 Guys that is why HM picked Greybeard for the WC......because he knew that they would have to face the All Blacks in the semis.
So there u are no problem, Greybeard will win the game for us as he usually does.

Alberts will probably be on the bench. He was doing a decent job at the end by adding some physicality. 

 Adding snail pace physicality against the AB's?  Remember the 2013 Ellis Park test - where Alberts was one of the major reasons for the loss?  He was utterly useless - and tha t was one of his better tests.   

Alberts is useless as a lock.
Lets hope Lood is ok, failing which the very impressive PSDT will do just fine......they should send for Willemse to play off the bench and send Vic home.
If only we had the brilliant Jaco Kriel at 6 ahead of Louw
