The Game of Rugby as it should be played

Prior to the WC their were major discussions on this site about squad selection and the refrain by some on this site has been that the game has not changed at all about the squad should comprise of certain players because of NH conditions.  The main argument was that in the NH with its heavy conditions there would not be -
*   the normal Rugby played in the Super Rugby and the Rugby Championship;*   that set pieces is the alpha and omega of the game; and*   that scoring of tries will be limited and goal kicking and the kicking game was more important than anything else.
The whole approach apparently is linked to use the conversion of panties to win games. 
The above viewpoint was apparently also shared by Meyer - who has now decided to use the ancient Bulls recipe - namely to ignore the backline and concentrate on passing of the balls by the scrummie back to the forwards and a kicking game that was supposed to impact on the game.
Be it i\as it may - the end result after the pool games is that none of the NH teams  have made the semi-final stage.   Only SA stuck faithfully to the olde regime of rugby and got a nasty shock as well - the loss against Japan basically because of the defective game plan.  This was followed up by a nailbiter against Wales - still played on the archaic game plan,
Now we have the situation that none of the NH countries managed to got through to the semis.  Other than Wales the other teams was all beaten by playing what derided as not being real rugby both by experts of NH rugby and by some "experts" on this site,  The debate in the media that previously condemned the Super 15 and Rugby Championship now says the results showed that skills more than only brawn counts and that the NH will have to further adjust their game to bring it into line with Super 15 and Rugby Championship game strategies.  Those should be implemented or the game would just go further downhill.
The critics pointed out the massive advancement in Argentinian rugby as an example where the adjustment was made after them becoming involved in the Rugby Championship.  Even Japan made massive strides in rugby development through the involvement of especially Eddie Jones.
Of the SH countries only SA remained stuck on traditional archaic rugby and it showed with the results achieved.  We lost against Japan and struggled to win against Japan.
This must come as a massive shock to members of this site like Mozart, Desert Fox, Ceradunce and Sharkbok who has not cottoned on to the fact that rugby has changed.  They are stuck on -
*   a counter-productive kicking game; *   a playing style where skills count for nothing;
*   that the ball should never go past the flyhalf in respect of whom the requirements are 90% centered on kicking abilities;*    that ball protection and recovery is not a requirement; *    that the role of the no 12 is to be able to kick balls and crashball; and*    that the main requirement of backline players is defense and anything else is not a consideration and  is not important.
They would shout and scream that they never wrote the above - but if their postings on this site are carefully studied you would find that kind of approach embedded in their thinking.
The donkey coaches on Super Rugby level has already departed and has been replaced by thinking coaches who has taken our rugby kicking and screaming into modern rugby - Franco Smith and Nollis Marais has already started on that route and Eddie Jones will make a massive change in the Stormers set-up.   
Th next step would have to be to get rid of Meyer and bring in somebody who has a sound understanding of modern rugby,                                       

 No Mikey ya'll need to stick with Meyer ,its no use trying to be something you aint .Which is to say a poor off-brand clone of the ABs .Huge forwards a metre between the eyes a 10 who can kick 5 droppies in a game and kick penalties fom over half-way .And a couple of easily amused wingers happy to live off the occasional ball that accidentaly squirts out their way ! Theres yer Boks for ya .

The way rugby is played by some Unions locally kill the younger skilled players and there are desperate measures taken by some of the coaches to ensue that skills are coached out of the youngsters playing in backlines.  That is why three of the  Super rugby coaches have been asked to go asap and already replaced.  The cancer is being removed and in two years time you will see a totally different scene evolving.
Meyer is the next to go - I am pretty sure of that.
