What is more, your argument just shows how short-sighted you really are. You do not understand the principles of winning battles and losing wars. Had we not lost Bismarck  for that game, we could have won that battle, but we could have been in deep shit for the rest of the war.

You also do not understand that the red card was all down to Bismarck's own stupidity. He should not have gotten that second yellow card. Plain and simple. The result of that one stupid transgression was what cost us bug time in the end. We were still in with a chance until he made that elbow charge which changed our entire campaign.

Had we won that game, we would have changed our entire strategy for the Ellis  Park test, because we would not have had to win with  a bonus point. We had to win with a bonus point at Ellis Park. That is why we changed our entire attacking and defensive strategy. We went for those four tries and keep going for it . We had no choice.
