Now this very ordinary player is being kept on the bench by Stegman, and deservedly so, Stegman is doing a much better job. You have to laugh at these amateur selectors who see a Speingbok behind every bush.

 The fact is that the Alberts, Matfield, Morne Steyn and Francois Steyn groupies are the most embarrassing of all.
Because Ludeke is a fool  - one of the worst referees in SA he uses Jane Spies at no 8 instead of Botha  and uses Labuschagne out of position at 6.   That is an embarrassment.   Now  Mozart and Letsal is too stupid to realize that and makes BS statements like the ones above.     

Alberts has been they key ball carrier over the past few years and very successful, also contributed significantly to our breakdown success. Victor shored up our lineout and restarts and added some leadership on the field as well as work ethic. Morne has broken Springbok records, a player who has scored all 31 points against NZ in every way minus a drop goal, who has won many tests for the Boks and is #2 for points per test (far more than any other pretender), who was a key figure in our try spree in 2013. Francois Steyn burst onto the scene, won us the Aussie test in 2007 as a teen, single-handedly sparked our World Cup campaign within seconds of coming onto the field. He did it again in 2011 until his injury ended our campaign. Yes, I feel no shame in these things certainly far less shame then these: Lambie: Landing one effective tackle in six years, but that one tackle was shooting out the line to take out an Aussie off the ball and was not in place to stop the walk in try. The same player who was a tragedy on the EOYT with no sense for making decisions, couldn't tackle, fluffed most of his kicks, passed atrociously and put enormous pressure on his backs. Has yet to have that break out game in six years. Of course, there was that CC game, but we are assured this is the second best 10 in world rugby so destined for greater things! He just isn't given much of a chance after 40 tests and several tours spanning six years. 

 The trick here is to build a top class tight five which can do. Scrapping that useless matfiled tops the agenda.Once we have the right tight five selected we can have vermulen at 8 and two fast players at 6 and 7. In this senario Labbers may feature although Burger is of course first choice.The above is the plan when facing the pap wee abs pack.If playing Englamd you need a very tough 8. What you dont want is a serial loafer like Alberts is these days. He contributes so little. Rather bring in any of a number of big loosies who do some work.
One can only hope that Meyer who lost the plot last year badly gets ity right in this RWC year.

 Last years biggest mistakes were DA, Lambie, Reinach, Goosen. A few injuries didn't help either.

 The biggets disater was matfiled. You CANNOT FIELD A TIGHT FIVE AGAINST NH PACKS. Or any decent pack.
Alberts is a loafer and that is blindingly obvious. I would rather play Burger, Elstadt Rhodes or Du Plessis. yOU WANT 8 FORARDS WORKING VERY HARD AT THEIR DISCIPLINES. matfield is no better in the lineout than any good test lock. Outside of that he is a dead loss.
Away with all the dead wood. 

On the NH tour, Victor was our hardest working lock in the tight. His ruck cleans and defence was far ahead of the rest of the pack. And against the Chiefs, he was not the liability either.

Have you finally gone dilly?  Matfield was NOT in the 2013 EOYT - neither I believe was Flippie.   
Alberts was useless in 2013 - his defense was pathetic and that is a fact as well.  
Remember Bakkies was brought in and was poor in all the matches played and the other lock constantly was Etzebeth - till he got injured in the last tour match.   What are you talking about here then?  

 Alberts always is a fat loafer and he is and remains that - a fat loafer frequently injured.   Pathetic performer in attack and defense and slower than an ox-cart.    

The extra weight and muscle has hurt Lappies athleticism. He was always a work-rate phenom in the mold of Cane and Todd. Somewhere along the line he was told he was too small and i think his efforts to gain weight have hurt his effectiveness.

 Lappies was better when he was lighter and was also stronger then as well it seems. Stegmann is crap, if you've watched all the Bulls matches you'd realise that Lappies is still better than him. 

 I would rather have Labuschagne than Dolittle Alberts in any team.   Alberts have 2 0% effort and 10% vision, making him a liability in international rugby.
