Serfontein with 251 points with 8 games played is no 19 on the list
Mnisi with 210 points with 13 games played is no 18 on the list
Odendaal with 196 points with 8 games played is no 25 on the list
Sadie with 188 points with 8 games played is no 23 on the list
Esterhuizen with 173 points with 12 games played is no 26 on the list
Steyn with 145 points with 7 games played is no 29 on the list
In a number of cases the number of games played is artificially boosted by the fact that players were on the bench and their participation in games was minimal.
It must be the first time in the history of this competition that 3 of the top 7 most valuable players at center are playing for SA Franchises. 4 additional games for Vorster would probably have had him at no 3 or 4 in the competition.
