The Wales Story Yesterday

Lets for a change do an objective analysis of the situation yesterday.  
The Welsh strong points were -
*   Their defense was superb.   They were constantly under ressure and their defense was superb.
*    Biggar's kicking game was superb and put Le Roux under extreme pressure.   His kicking at goal was a major factor in the game.
*     breakdown ball recovery - although it weakened later in teh game.
The Springboks strong points were:-
*    Forward pressure - a major portion of the game was played in the Welsh half.
*    The good performances of Du Preez and De Allende in the backline.  
The fact is that some Springbok players was not good enough on their performance yesterday and those were the following:-
*    Le Roux under the high ball*    The relieving kicks not finding touch and allowing the Welsh to run back the ball or making pin point high kicks putting the Springboks under pressure - both Pollard ad Du Preez made this mistake.*    Losing ball possession at critical times during the game when the Welsh were under pressure or giving away penalties.*    Too much aimless kicking - less in the second half.*    Missed kicks at goal by Pollard - 8 potential points missed.
