...in the Boks first move of the match. This is a wake up call. Allende did some decent things in the match, one big tackle on Roberts and a fine steal at the close. But his running again featured his patented hop and meandering cross field. Most of his metres were made running from the back. He is not an effective centre opening up gaps.
The close quarter running, tractoring as it seems to me, looks potent. But in all honesty it results in nothing, not being done at pace. It leaves Allende vertical with multiple tacklers having a go at him....ripe  for stripping...as 20 year old Morgan showed.
Allende has to try a few cuts onto the ball at pace, be willing to run into the defence at pace..that hop is a cop out.

Why - village idiot - do you not take time out and read the thread dealing with rugby as it should be played and try and learn something about the game and stop producing prejudiced and unsubstantiated junk on this site.

He never did you stupid old fool.  There was one tackle De Allende missed and that was an attempt on a forward.
Yes that topic is the one and I know you would not comment - because everything you wrote about rugby and the requirements for the WC has been rubbished - not by me, but what was said on TV and in the media about the departure of all NH teams from the WC.
When you learn from that thread on what is really the situation in rugby at present and forget about your totally idiotic claim that rugby has not changed - we may yet get some sensible contributions from you - until then we can only accept that you are in fact produce unsubstantiated junk and prejudiced rubbish about individual players.
It must really be terrible to be exposed so badly  for knowing zip about the game of rugby,  I would - if I were you - have already written an apology for all the junk postings I made on the score of rugby strategy and the need for donkeys to play for the Springboks because of the NH conditions.
Meantime - the Springboks will be out of the WC in the semi's because of a seriously defective game plan and lack of players with ball skills,  I hope the loss is not too big - but of Matfield plays and like is normal with him destroys our Tight 5 competitiveness - the loss will be enhanced by a further 15 points.

Perhaps you should look at the tape. The first time Allende tractors, Morgan strips him. As for all that other BS, as I recall you were the fellow that thought Samoa was going to beat the Boks. By contrast I was picking an all SH semi.
And if we lose to the ABs, it's likely to be because our centres are simply not ready.

Listen fool - why do you not realize that you know nothing about rugby and start looking at reality.  An making a tackle does not represent a payer beings trippedby another player.  You really are dense and stupid at the same time.
Will we have a flyhalf or center on Saturday?  Not sure whether Burger will not take over the flyhalf position - as was the case in the Japan test and against the Welsh.  That ploy will be destroyed by the AB's - it did not work against the Japanese and he Welsh and is a demonic revival of 2004 Bulls rugby.
If we want to have any chance on Saturday - we will need competitiveness up front ad that would be destroyed by Matfield.   I have no qualms about the centers - when they played the AB's in the last RC tests they actually performed better than the AB centers did - but in your delusion you missed out on that one.

"An making a tackle does not represent a payer beings trippedby another player."

Do you even know what stripped means Mike? De Allende was tackled, as he went to ground Morgan ripped the ball from his hands to effect a turnover. That's what Moz is talking about.

Mozart is trying to study every minute of the game about players he dislikes and try and find fault with them.  That is absolute  BS.  He was carrying on last week about how Jamie Roberts is going to play the fool with De Allende and when that did not happen he went bananas about how De Allende did squat in the test.
This is his third effort in trying to discredit De Allende after the first two backfired and when I read what he wrote - I just lost my cool.   He did not realize that the way the ball was constantly played back to the forwards and not going to the backline neutralized the performance of the backline and the centers could not carry any balls other than in traffic.
He did not describe the tackle at all - that could account for the stripping.  if their are two tacklers involved (normal in the case of De Allende) and Morgan being the third person involved tried to wrestle the ball free it should be stated as such.  In any event why concentrate on De Allende - the same thing happened with Burger as well.- why no noise about that one.

Well, I certainly need to add to this topic
Why in the hell does De Allende always jump into the air before attempting any attacking counter run?
He looks absolutely stupid doing it all the time, and besides the fact that he can't change direction in mid air, all he does is allow the opposition more time to tackle him while he is hanging in the air considering his options.
Can anyone give some insight into this................. please

 DA
it is to determine which line he is going to run.  Lots of players do it - because it confuse the defenders to some extend.  It does not have any negative impact on what follows - so I do not know why you regard it as a negative.
This constant faultfinding with De Allende is sickening - the man is performing well - as a matter of fact better than De Villiers over the lats 2 years - with experience will only get better.  There is no way that he is worse than Fat Fransie and no chance that the latter will play as Springbok again. This has nothing to do with the latter's contracting issue and everything to do with his performance going belly up.

Take a chill pill bro
I asked a legitimate supporter's question about a player, and now you go on about how sickening this fault finding is of Allende..... grow up man...... it was a perfectly decent question about a Springbok player
How can this action confuse the opposing players when in some cases as soon as he lands back down, he gets nailed in the tackle?

Sheeesh bro....... calm the fu!k down

De Allende rarely gets nailed by the first tackler - it normally takes one or two players to get him down and then he still go forward  in tackles.
That si why he makes so many meters over the gain line regularly and held the record this year for most defenders beaten  - even in the RC and WC tgus far - it is the case.    He played for the first time ever at 12 for the Springboks against the Aussies and since then the howling has been uninterrupted.
In the 7 tests De Allende played in -
*   he made 255 meters over the gain line carrying balls;*   he made 7 line breaks; and*   he beat 31 tackles
I checked the stats of other centers playing at 12 and could nto find any comaprable stats of any inside center who had better

So the question is what else is to be expected from him.  It seems that there are two or three members who wants him out of the team and they ignore the above completely concentrating instead on the one game where he missed 6 of the 21 tackle attempts he put in . clearly too high - but he has improved those figures and his defense in subsequent tests was totally acceptable.   When that happened his detractors have been nitpicking to try and find some other grounds for attacks on him.

The incident in question can be seen around 0:48 of the video Abasquefan posted in the thread "The Sprinsboks' Attack-Video Ana!isys".
One tackler, Morgan ripping the ball off DA as he was going to ground.

The simple fact is I have been warning that Allende is going to be stripped with his tractoring....upright, slow running in the tackle. He was, in the first move of the QF. That's case closed. But sadly I have to issue a new warning. The ABs are students of the game, they will have come to the same conclusions I have....look out for the strip again on Saturday.

I ask you please to stop this garbage - what ever you wroite on thsis ite is not going to get Fat Fransie in contention for selection.
If De Allende according to you is tractoring - what is Fat Farnsie doing?  Definitely not tractoring - rather ox-wagoning at snail pace.  So what is this nitpicking about De Allende in aid of - De Allende is going NOWHERE and he will be our 12 for years to come.  Last time the youngsters came up against the Nono-Smith center combination - who came out tops?
Last week you were on about Jamie Roberts running riot against De Allende - when that jeremiad did noit work out - you did not admit you were wrong - now it is this rubbish that you come up with.  Do you not realize you are making a fool of yourself?  You have no idea about the game anyway - so look out rather for information thjat can teach you something about the game.  Why don't you look at the usage of Schak at the stand-in flyhalf and whether that system worked when tried in the Japanese test and again against the Welsh.  It was a bugger-up - but you seem to be quite happy with that one.

The only thing DA does is beat more defenders than any other centre in the game......there is no better measure of a centre than defenders beaten.....DA is streaks ahead of anyone else in this department this year.

One strip which happens to many players going to ground hardly defines a player

No the right measure is helping his team to score tries....on that basis he has one try and one assist against the Eagles second team. He has been irrelevant to proceedings.
And actually he was stripped again later in the game.

You are talk absolute KAK in this case.  Just tell me why are everybody but you and your fellow retard DF the only people carrying on about De Allende being poor - while all the experts thinks he is very good.  Are you still smarting because your BS backfires on you every time.
Your constant carping is so repetitive - it indicates a sick mind because you were wrong every time you make a forecast about what is about to go wrong and then have to hide behind the next forecast to avoid all the egg coming your way.
There were much more wrong than De Allende being "stripped of a ball"  in the game on Saturday.  Why are you unable to deal with broader and more important issues and continue to try and make out that what on or two players in your mind did wrong - ignoring what they did right - and ignore the more important issues that nearly cost us the match, inclusive of a serious defective game plan?
Until you develop a broader understanding of rugby and what happened during matches your silly messages on this site can only be regarded as a source of mirth.

No the measure of a great centre is defenders beaten......that is his job......tries are a team effort.....beating defenders is an individual skill, something DA does better than any other centre.....there is more chance of him setting up tries through defenders beaten, so the chances are this will evolve into the norm as time goes by.

He is great at beating defenders, a rarity in a test centre

Dave
Mozart does not realize that putting the team on the front foot is done though line breaks and defenders beaten - thus creatring further opportunities for other players.
Take for instance the try scored by Pietersen in the Scottish test.  De Allende carried the ball up to about 1 meter out - the ball came back quickly and the try was a given.  De Allende is statistically not credited with a try assist - but his role was critical in scoring of the try.
Mozart is constantly trying to find fault with De Allende for some reason only known to himself - my guess is that because he is constantly is wrong about what happened in matches after he forecast disaster - it hurts his self-esteem
One has to pity him - it is only a fool that does not want to admit he is wrong when in fact he was wrong.

You can't put defenders beaten on the score board, especially if they are beaten at a snail's pace with a virtual loose scrum around the runner. Allende may be doing part of the job of an eigh th man with his tractoring and steals....but he is doing only a small part of the job of a centre.

Bullshit you know stuff all about what constitutes a good centre......they dont come better than those that beat defenders at the rate he does.
Oh give it up, now all of a sudden he is beating defenders at a snails pace.....what a load of pathetic bullshit. The only time he will be beating defenders with a lack of pace is when he is operating in traffic which is pretty often in a test match.
Are you saying DA lacks pace when he is operating in space huh?
One would swear that every time a player beats a defender that it leads to a try....are you saying that there is no positives in DA beating defenders as he does? How fucking ignorant
Your take on players is a fucking joke.....look no further than DA, Kriel and Lood right now....all making a mockery of the useless players they replaced who happened to be your useless picks in Jean and Matfield.

This really is the pits - a new set of rules for De Allende that only applies to him - not to any other center we have had since 1995.
I was watching the Fiji test in 2007 on TV tonight.   If De Allende made the bugger-ups Steyn made in that test - a real string of those - we would get a condemnation sermon from this village idiot that would cover 50 typed pages.  If Steyn did what De Allende did on Saturday - the praise singing would be endless.
What a vicious and petty-minded BSter.

One certainty is that DA and Kriel are here to stay for years.....just as Lood and PSDT will be.....these youngsters have better potential than some of the greats who have been Boks......like Bakkies, Jean, Fourie and Matfield......the game has evolved, these kids just get better and better.
