Investigators are trying to determine whether someone else was in the Las Vegas gunman's hotel room when he was registered there, senior law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation told NBC News.

The investigators are puzzled by two discoveries: 

First, a charger was found that does not match any of the cellphones that belonged to the gunman, Stephen Paddock.

And second, garage records show that during a period when Paddock's car left the hotel garage, one of his key cards was used to get into his room.

AN ISIS expert has refused to rule out the possibility that Steven Paddock was acting in the name of ISIS when he launched a devastating attack on Las Vegas.

Rukmini Callimachi, a correspondent for The New York Times that has covered the terror group since 2014, has taken to social media to explain that it would be irresponsible to rule out the connection between ISIS and the Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock. AS ou warped DUD has done without knowing the facts. What a sub Mampara this oak is!

The terror expert tweeted: “No proof is provided, but ISIS has rarely claimed attacks that were not by either their members or sympathisers.”

“In their chatrooms, they are claiming that the West and the media is leading a cover-up in order to hide the "martyrdom" of their brother.

“I don't take ISIS' claim at face value.

And so far, 0 evidence tying this attack to ISIS has emerged.

“But here's why I disagree with those rejecting it out of hand.

"I've been covering ISIS since 2014 and since then I have kept a timeline.

“Every time ISIS claimed an attack in West, I jotted it down.

"Months later, I've gone back over list & annotated what investigations found.

“My list is not complete but of the more than 50 cases I have annotated, I could only find 3 false claims.

58 people were killed and 527 were injured in the 72-minute shooting that targeted those attending a Route 91 Harvest Festival along the Las Vegas Strip.

Shots were fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, targeting the 22,000 people attending the concert.

It took police an hour and 12 minutes from the first 911 call reporting the incident to locate Paddock.

Once police breached the shooter’s room on the 32nd floor, the 64-year-old had already committed suicide.

The attack is deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

One of the suspects allegedly told an undercover agent posing as ISIS sympathizer that "NY Needs to fall."

Three men living outside the U.S. planned to attack concerts, Times Square and crowded subways in 2016 in an ISIS-inspired attack that one of the suspects said he hoped would be "the next 9/11," authorities announced on Friday afternoon.

The FBI said the three men -- Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy, a 19-year-old Canadian citizen; Talha Haroon, a 19-year-old U.S. citizen based in Pakistan; and Russell Salic, a 37-year-old orthopedic surgeon in the Phillipines -- allegedly used chat apps to talk about bringing a car bomb into the Crossroads of the World, gunning down subway riders before detonating vests and opening fire on concertgoers in the vein of the Paris terror attacks of 2015.

Law enforcement officers have arrested three men in connection with an ISIS-inspired plan to target concerts, subways and landmarks in New York City in 2016.

One of the men said he wanted “shoot up concerts cuz they kill lots of people”. Sound familiar?

Kim’s office said the plot was more aspirational than operational, but the trio used chat apps to talk about setting off bombs and shooting people in Times Square and the subway system. Prosecutors added that Al Bahnasawy also communicated with an undercover agent posing as an ISIS sympathizer about wanting to “shoot up concerts cuz they kill lots of people.”

“We just need guns in our hands,” El Bahnasawy said. “That’s how the Paris guys did it.”

ABC News reported that El Bahnasawy has pleaded guilty to the charges against him. Haroon and Salic were arrested in foreign countries, according to the press release.

“It is the hope and expectation of this Office and U.S. law enforcement that they will be extradited to the United States to face justice in a United States court,” the press release states.

It is no secret that ISIS and Islamic terrorists target concerts. It is a place where a lot of people are gathered at once, making it easier for terrorists to kill a lot people in a short period of time.

Stephen Paddock targeted the Route 91 Harvest in Las Vegas and ISIS has tripled down on their claims that he converted to Islam six months ago. Is there a connection to this plot? Does this give us further proof that Paddock was taking orders from ISIS to target concerts?

We know that Paddock also booked rooms at the Blackstone hotel in Chicago overlooking Lollapalooza two months before the Las Vegas mass shooting.

TMZ reports:

Stephen Paddock had his sights set on Lollapalooza in Chicago and even booked 2 rooms in a hotel that overlooked the massive outdoor venue … TMZ has learned.

Check out this pic of a computer screen at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago, located across the street from the venue, Grant Park, where 400,000 people — including Malia Obama — squeezed in over 4 days to watch big musical acts.

Paddock booked one room for August 1, 2017, 2 days before the August 3 kickoff. Paddock then booked a second room for an August 3 arrival. Both rooms had an August 6 checkout … that’s when Lollapalooza ended.

I don’t know about you, but I am pretty sick and tired of hearing these liberal entertainers - many of whom have never bought, touched, or shot a firearm - lecture the rest of us on our Second Amendment rights.

Those injured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival weren’t even out of surgery before the rich and famous mixed their crocodile tears with their anti-gun BS in an effort to shame law-abiding gun owners.Pretty typical narrative from a group of people who will use any tragedy as a means to advance their war on guns, gun owners and the Constitution. 

Here’s a Constitution lesson for ya: “shall not be infringed” means “shall not be infringed.” It doesn’t mean there’s an exception if Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, Kim Kardashian or Lady Gaga see fit. Got it?

The Second Amendment was brought to us courtesy of our Founding Fathers for those who aren’t wealthy or fortunate enough to be surrounded by gated communities, body guards or armed security detail.

I’m so sick of these elitists looking down on gun owners as if we're just a bunch of rednecks who don’t deserve the right to protect and defend ourselves, our families and our property. No, that’s not how this thing works. It’s not up to Jimmy Kimmel, Whoopi Goldberg, J.K. Rowling or any of these loud mouths to decide what kind of gun I need or don’t need and how many.

And Democrats, be honest, you’re not looking for common sense reform, you just want to get the ball rolling on your ultimate goal. It’s not that gun owners and Second Amendment supporters aren’t open to discussion or reasonable legislation. That’s not it. The issue we have is with the gradual chipping away of our rights. It starts with limited capacity magazines, then AR-15s, then bump stocks - until the Democrats get what they really want, our gun rights and our Second Amendment stripped away. Sorry, that’s not gonna happen.

So go ahead and lecture and and shame us all you want but if you think psychos, lunatics or terrorists will be stopped by your gun control measures or gun-free zones you’re either blissfully ignorant or living in La La Land. Take away our rights and the only ones left with guns will be terrorists, criminals and lunatics.
