The question remains whether Steyn was good enough in all games played since his return from France in 2012 to date to justify his selection to the Springbok WC squad in 2015.
There is every indication that he was not and that he should never be in the squad based on his performances during that period. You have find a convenient way not to deal with his performances issue and has always refused to deal with the cardinal fact he consistently performed way below par, while always insisting that he should be in the squad for some imaginary reason or another.
In the final ana lysis it would be lunatic to have him in the Springbok squad - end of story.
