..Bean Brain ,. as we watch the ABs score again and you disappear ,I was wondering who would you rather have kick yr butt next round ???...Wales or the convicts sons of sheep stealers..either way looks like the end of the road for you sorry to say mate ...

Knock on by Ben Smith not called, then Skud goes zero to sixty in 0.2 seconds
He is going to score a lot of tries.

What is a bit surprising is how little punch the Tongans have in their backline. No real pace or anything.
Go tongooons!

Great no look from Aaron Smith. Even had the camera man fooled.

Tongans need fresh legs theyare fading as expected. The main point was that they dominated the abs for 50 minutes. Scrummed them drove them and showed them up badly. But as I said it would not last as they are not a fit side.
Concern remains over this ab side. Are they genuine contenders?
09 Oct 2015, 22:39#50
...Bean Brain, Veainu has the best stats in the comp for metres gained I think...plays for the Melbourne Rebels...

Good try by Sam Cane. Forwards showing more continuity and tight play.

Tonga #12 in the world: 105000 populationNZ the most dominant #1 there is in sport anywhere: 4.4 million population
But the Tongans earned respect and were able to ask questions, even as much as to have the game in the balance as late as the 50th minute.
Beauty of rugby.

Congrats to the AB & to Tonga who gave it their all. Very brave effort & one to be proud of.

Well played both teams. Congrats to the AB s.Goodnight all.
09 Oct 2015, 22:58#62
Skud MOM
Tonga win possession and territory battle but just have no strike runners and forward play was ponderous by comparison to the AB.

...Disappointing RWC for Tonga ...but they did beat Japan only a few weeks ago in the PNC...in theory making them a better side than SA - whaddayareckon Bean Brain ?..

Brycy your delusions grow by the day!
Ys after all your blowhard chest beating re the PI sides the return has been meagre.
In vain did I warn you brycy like a good friend ought!
The Tongans dominated the nz pack for 50 minutes till they got tired. The yellow card also didnt help and gifted teh abs a few tries etc.
Frankly the wee abs are underwhelming. I cant see any top side being too concern ed.

Beeno, watching the Boks get beaten by the wee blossoms & then struggle against the USA B team will have all teams shaking in their boots.
If you can get wee Matfield on the field there is some hope. A man with his skill & leadership qualities offer some sort of hope, well not really hope but more prayer than hope... One must remain optimistic

Hahahahahahahahaha very good one brycy. However this joke springs from deep within the nz pysche where it is understood the Mighty Boks are on cours e (San wee victor) to win the RWC.
10 Oct 2015, 09:50#70
...Bean Brain a great theory but must confess to changing that joke a little bit... it was originally a joke about Australia winning the world cup...

The RWC fun starts today Brycy. Some great matches coming up.
I think OZ are being overhyped. The refs must watch out for their scrum cheats.

The OZ bubble will burst followed by the wee abs when they meet France etc.It will be left to the Mighty Boks to carry the SH flag as the hapless PI nations are all out and the argies are not quite up to it.
Oaks Meyer listened to Beeno's advice at last and the rest is history.I cant however be sure he will remain on course and listening to Beeno. Consequently that malignant carbuncle matfiled could, for example, still inveigle his way into the side at the expense of the world class L ood!
